I picked up Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng for mum at Say Yes Cafe and then headed to Halla Holla for my brekkie.
Later that evening my partner and I headed to 1 Utama. I suggested we try out Dave's Bistro. When we got there, the place was packed! Maybe this is due to the Chinese New Year with many families gathering for a meal.
I did not take photos of the interior due to the many diners.
This accidentally came to our table. The one we ordered, we requested for the roasted pork belly not to be cut. I like to see my food whole so that I know I got the complete portion. The server realized this and quickly came to take this plate away.
This is the correct order. I initially wanted baby back ribs but it was not available. I shared this with my partner, with me eating the lion's share.
The skin was super crispy. I tend to compare western style roasted pork belly with the Chinese version and I prefer siew yoke. Call me biased.
This was my partner's spaghetti bolognaise. The sauce is made with a combination of pork and beef. I tried a bit including the meatballs.
This was not bad and the meatballs were pretty good. Though I still prefer my mum's spaghetti sauce.
I would say that that was a very good dinner except for the chef's heavy handedness with all things salty.
I don't know if this is related to what I ate. I woke up this morning feeling exhausted and drained of energy. I am sensitive to certain food/food ingredients that way. But I feel better now.

Dear friend, your meals look scrumptious. I wouldn't like salty Caesar salad either.
