I had another box of Brussel Sprouts in the fridge. Hence another opportunity to enjoy these veggies.
But before that. It was a public holiday and I looked forward to gardening.
Oh! Hello!
A frog paid me a visit hee...hee... I didn't disturb the frog. I just left it alone after snapping this photo.
Besides gardening, I also assembled two bookshelves.
Then I cleared some cardboard boxes out of the storeroom.
I had been keeping these four empty Convatec product boxes as reference for when I needed to replenish supplies.
Now that dad is no longer with us, I can now discard these boxes.
I used to make monthly orders from the pharmacy and take these to the nursing home.
Soon it was time to prepare food. Underneath the pork belly were Brussel Sprouts and garlic cloves topped with a few slices of bacon.
The pork belly was marinated with Cajun seasoning.
The bacon cooked together with the Brussel Sprouts and garlic cloves.
I ate my main meal at around 4:00pm.
That was my one meal for the day. We'll see if I can pull another OMAD the next day.
Good morning! Gosh! The frog looked like monster to me, run! Geng lah you PH! Knows how to assemble furniture, you are like a man or with the help from your partner? Hee hee. What a productive Public Holiday you had. But cardboard boxes can be very useful and practical. Ahhhh, shall I have roasted pork belly rice today or sweet fatty caramelized char siew rice? Your post gave me inspiration.
