Last Sunday, I was feeling rather jolly because Monday was a public holiday. We love public holidays, don't we?
As usual, I went to Aeon with my partner for our grocery run. After picking up my stuff, I was distracted by this.
Dark chocolate. I love dark chocolate.
I took a look at this bar of chocolate with 90% cocoa.
No sugar. And no, I did not buy any of the dark chocolate because they cost upwards of RM20 for a 100g bar.
When I got home, I did my simple dump-in-the-air-fryer food.
These were for my two meals.
I added some cili padi and chopped garlic for extra oomph!
Ah Boi was snoozing outside.
She was so deep in sleep that she did not even flinch when I got really close to snap her picture. Ah Boi is so glossy hee...hee....
Ah Boi is really so glossy! Many people would love to have hair as glossy as A Boi πΊYour lunch and dinner are packed with protein πͺππ
ReplyDeleteHave a good and smooth day! ❤️
hah..hah... Ah Boi is my shiny girl! Have a good weekend!
DeleteGood morning! I visited the neighborhood cat near the hair salon and it has a name, in actual fact 2 names, named by me. I call it "ah bui" (fatty BOM BOM in hokkien) and ε€η«ε (night cat if directly translated or night owl as it usually takes naps in the morning and afternoon but rather active at night). Last Sunday was a good one for me too. I love holidays like you. Ah boi has glossy fur/hair due to the food she eats or because she is born with it? Have a good work day ahead! P/S I love to watch cats sleeping like your ah boi, so enjoyable to watch as they seem to be having a good sleep.
ReplyDeleteGood morning! hah..hah... I like the name "ah bui". Ah Boi's glossy fur is due to her diet of real meat.
DeleteAh Boi was in deep sleep & in la la land with lots of salmon :)
ReplyDeleteI bought reflective cat collars for my fur babies. Just pray & hope that other motorists able to see them & not hit them.
LOL! That's a good idea! I should consider reflective cat collars too.
DeleteThere's this lady on Shopee selling chocolate and promoting dark chocolate as something that even diabetics can eat (I think that's a bit of false advertising, don't you?). She recommends 80% dark chocolate as the best choice as it won't be so bitter she said. So far (like the one you've shown above) the dark chocolate that my husband is gifted, I always look at the ingredients list and sugar is always listed. We know the benefits of eating dark chocolate but that is provided you don't have a sugar problem. Some of these people are taken in by her info and will buy her chocolate thinking it's "safe" to eat. >.<
ReplyDeleteOh ya, diabetics should be avoiding anything with sugar. You are right that it's all right for people who don't have a sugar problem to eat dark chocolate that contains sugar. Maybe if they can restrict to a small square per serving it may not be so bad but who eats only one square of chocolate, right? LOL!
DeleteAhhh chocolate desserts..I love white chocolate and some dark chocolate if they are not too bitter, I thought I was diabetic but after the annual health check up and test last year, my blood glucose level was within desirable level even though I have frequent urination symptom. Will only have chocolate when I feel stressed and need a mood boost.
DeleteI don't like white chocolate because it is way toooo sweet for me.
DeleteHello PH!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you're into dark chocolate, I'd like to recommend you a local brand called BENNS.
They have one that's 99.9% and individually packed!
It may look like a big packet but because the chocolates are individually packed there's no need to rush to finish them.
Personally it's one of the nicest dark chocolates despite it being 99.9%.
Hello! Thanks for the recommendation. I will look for it!
