Belle Belle is a bit more cheeky than Girl. Between the two, Girl is more manja and noisy (she is "talkative" and sometimes whines a lot) but she is generally well behaved i.e she does not jump on my kitchen counter tops and stuff.
So the other day, I made the wrong decision of letting her into my study room. Girl has been in the study before and the most malevolent thing she did was try to eat my internet cable.
But she never did this. Belle Belle had no reservations jumping up to my desk (I mean, after all she conquered the kitchen cabinet).
You have to put up with these type of accidents. She has had diarrhea right outside my bedroom and on the staircase and I have been lucky so far not to step on it. So these days, from the moment I open my bedroom door until I go downstairs, I have to be on the lookout.
How do I know it is her and not Girl? The evidence is in the litter box or the lack thereof. Girl's had deposits while Belle Belle's box was clean. Haiz...
I contemplated keeping her outside again. But I did vow to do right by Belle Belle after what happened in the past.
Besides, I have no heart to lose her again.
Oh no!!! You have the patience of a saint! I would have got rid of it long long ago if she does that all over the place. That first pic - she does not even look friendly and lovable, like so fierce, so angry!!!
ReplyDeleteA face only a mother could love! LOL!
DeleteThank you so much! You are an angel! Belle Belle, be good to your mommy, ok?
ReplyDeleteShe has not been pooping outside the box so far. Touch wood!
DeleteBoth girls are such cutie, I don't think I have heart to keep any of them out. You are their angel mom. ❤️
ReplyDeleteNo choice hah..hah... besides I love them too much!
DeleteYour Belle Belle is just like my dearly departed Cookie....jumping on everything! I think you've seen photos of Cookie on my cupboard tops, dining table, computer table, etc. He not only jumps on my kitchen counter but also on my kitchen cabinet tops. Even the stray cats who accidentally wanders into my home will jump on my table and kitchen tops....but I think that's natural with all cats. But pooping everywhere other than the provided litter box is not. The internet says cats pooping outside the litter box may be caused by a medical condition, stress or the litter box is dirty (the last one I'm sure it's not since yoiu clean it regularly). You may have to get her checked out by the vet (especially if the diarrhea has gone on for days). Cookie has never had accidents like that before in the house. I would freak out if I had to clean up such a mess. Oh dear, even on the sofa. I think you need to get some water repellant sheets to line your sofa before covering with cloth, otherwise her poop is going to seep through the fabric coz once the smell is there, she'll keep going back to the same place to poop! >_<
ReplyDeleteI had some pet liners in place under the covers as suggested by my partner and it helped protect the fabric and cushion. No repeat offence so far and I hope it stays that way.
DeleteOh yes, I remember those photos of your late Cookie on your cabinet tops and all. I would freak out of Belle Belle got that far. Somehow Girl does not do that except once (recently) when she jumped on the dining table when I was eating bacon. I pushed her away down to the floor and after that I felt bad. Haiz!
Belle is more inquisitive and wants to kepoh in everything. Haha income tax filing is boring and tiring and Belle got so tired that she needed a nap. Poor thing, she can't control when she has tummy upset ma.....
ReplyDeleteSo far she has not had an accident outside her litter box and I hope it stays that way.
Deleteyucks! i can't stand seeing poop everywhere in the house....so geli.....mayb Belle is suitable to stay outside. She seems to be sick-prone compared to Girl. Hopefully all is well with Belle.
ReplyDeleteYup, yucks indeed! She is much older than Girl and not as healthy.
