Belle Belle is a lot more comfortable at home and she has now started to jump on the sofas again. Previously, she only stayed on the floor or preferred to go upstairs.
Last night while I was watching TV, she jumped onto the armchair and made herself comfortable.
She was all snugly on the cushion.
She looked so cute.
Sedapnya tidur!
She was all curled up and lost in dreamland.
But she woke up and moved to the sofa. At long last the cat blankets that I bought are now being used.
Belle Belle always has a great time scratching my poor sofas. Tsk..tsk..tsk...
Very docile, very quiet.

ReplyDeleteCats have angin when comes to their food and sleeping havens. Later it might sleep behind sofas like my sister's cats. Then go inside her wardrobe to sleep too.

DeleteI can see why Belle is so comfortable in your home now...especially when she gets to sleep on those special pillows and cat blanket you got for her (and Girl). I've seen that cat mat selling on Shopee but the promo video shows that the inside is like all soft (don't know what material) and I'm wondering if it can be machine washed...and if it'll soak all the water and be difficult to dry. By the way, your cat blanket seems extra long too (what size did you get?). I'm still covering my sofa with old human blankets or bedspreads like you used to do. I've also wanted to get that same pillow (I saw selling at Daiso). One side of it looks ok (made of cloth) but then I noticed the other side is all furry and hairy and wonder if it can be machine washed too. As for her still scratching your poor sofa, perhaps you can get one of those cardboard thingy (that lies on the floor) and put it next to her favourite scratching spot to see if she'd scratch on that instead. Those cardboard thingy is not as expensive as a scratching post...you can try-lah.
ReplyDeleteActually that was two cat blankets placed side by side. It is very soft (I used to put my legs on it when two girls refused to go anywhere near it LOL!) and can be machine washed. I have washed the other pink one that used to be inside Belle's cage (which she had abandoned). As for the Daiso pillow, it is not meant to be washed as I discovered. The cloth side is OK but the furry side becomes more furry and hairy after washing and the stuffing inside goes out of shape. So not recommended lah.

DeleteI like the way Belle snuggling on the cushion and enjoying her sleep. Makes me want to sleep also. The weather is nice and cool and waiting to rain now.
