(The Real) Chinese New Year at The Starling

In this post I made a wrong conclusion about the Chinese New Year (CNY) decorations at The Starling.

I mean, how could the management not decorate the mall for  such a major festival, right?

This year's theme is Bloom Into Prosperity.

Hence these beautiful illuminated "flower vases".

Ah! Horses for the Year of the Horse.

And then I saw this carousel.

Little kids might like a ride.

It's RM10.00 per ride.

I like these colorful cut outs.

Some shoppers will use this as a photo opportunity.

I got distracted. Baskin Robbins dessert.

Oh, this is pretty.

Those red lattice boards I bet were from Christmas.

Even the customer service counter was decorated.

With lampu lip lap (blinking lights) and all.

There are booths set up to sell snacks and apparel.

Loads of snacks (to me these are poison).

Buy 6 Free 1. When I look at those candy canes, I shudder.

Fish skin snack.

There were also hampers for sale.

At Hank's (next door to Jaya Grocer) I saw this poster for pre-order of meat.

So that's it. The decorations are quite nice. CNY is in about 3 weeks time.
