I was a little bit peckish that morning and decided to eat something light before going to the chicken rice stall to pick up mum's lunch.
As usual, more often than not, I ended up at Halla Holla since it is so convenient and along the way. I scrolled the online menu and noted that the soup of the day was Mushroom Soup.
And the Mushroom Soup, which I expected to be good based on my good experience with their Tomato Soup.
It's one of those inflatable things and looked like a cave or something like that. Then I went to the front.
That's when all those terminology I learnt in biology class came to my head - superior vena cava, anterior vena cava, atrium, ventricle, etc - well I still remember what I learnt hah..hah..hah... not bad madam!
A friend of my partner's had a pace maker implanted a while back but now he needs some intervention due to atrial fibrillation.

Dear friend, thank you for sharing this helpful information on breathing.
ReplyDeleteI love ❤️ mushroom๐ soup. Your soup and the bread looks like a hearty, delicious and wholesome as well as comforting meal!!! I enjoyed all your photos including ๐ the Halloween ๐ decor.
i love the mushroom soup so much that I could have it everyday! LOL!
DeleteGood morning! Mushroom soup ๐ฒ ๐ is my favourite and default soup of the day followed by tomato ๐ soup, seafood chowder or corn soup etc. It is pity I was not assigned and streamed to learn biology during my secondary days and that I did not appreciate science subjects such as Chemistry back then.
ReplyDeleteGood morning! It is all right, we all have different interest and aptitude. I happen to love biology, chemistry but not physics. LOL!
DeleteThe breathing exercise is a simple yet useful and beneficial exercise. Your meal at Halla holla was a basic yet satisfying meal. I love to soak my bread usually is garlic ๐ง bread ๐ into the soup and eat too. Thanks for bringing us a walk around the mall. Today is Halloween ๐ป๐ Day. Have a productive, calm, peaceful, happy, and blessed day ahead. Thanks for sharing my dear friend. Lunch will be rice, fish and steamed egg for me.
ReplyDeleteYour lunch sounds very good!
DeleteDear friend, I just noticed that you also followed Nancy Chan's blog. She and I followed each other's blogs when I was at Linda's Peaceful Place. As you know, because I have mentioned it before, between November 2017 and early this year I had no computer or web access. I found out a few months ago after I started my new blog that Nancy died two years ago.
ReplyDeleteShe was a lovely person.
I hope you have a great weekend.
Yesm Linda. I did follow Nancy's blog and loved looking at her garden. She was quite the gardener. It is a pity that she is no longer with us. I agree that she was a lovely person. She even sent me flower seeds that I managed to grow!
DeleteAh, I recognize the heart as soon as I saw it. Mainly because my late mil had a pace maker and heart disease.
ReplyDeleteAh, no wonder!
DeleteI am surprised that they didn't put pepper into the mushroom see soup because for the omelette, they put lots of pepper. ๐
ReplyDeleteNext time I will request hah..hah...
DeleteYour iced latte really looks so refreshing but I usually just drink ice long black at halla holla.
ReplyDeleteTheir ice latte is good because it is not diluted.
DeleteYes, mushroom soup ranks up top in my list....I basically love any soups! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love soups too but don't have it often enough. Last weekend I did cook soup with veggies and minced pork hee..hee..
