Halloween Breakfast

I had to attend a webinar from 10.30am to 12:00pm so I thought I had better settle my stomach first just in case the session over runs. Stomach is very important hah..hah...

Halla Holla is still having their value breakfast. It's value for money and totally worth it.

Since it was end of the month and the last day to enjoy the Blueberry and Longan Panna Cotta, I decided to have one. It's my third so far. Oh dear!

This is a very good dessert! 

I had time for a walk, about 30 minutes before the webinar started.

This is Periwinkle and I refer to these blooms as "Kindergarten flower" because these were planted in the compound of St Theresa's Kindergarten which I attended when I was a little girl.

I spotted this resident tending to her plants. I look forward to the day when I can do the same when I am able to retire. There is nothing like getting up in the morning and tending to my plants after my coffee. Ah! Sweet dreams are made of these!

Oh, aren't these lovely!

I am trying to plant flowers in my garden and I bought a few packets of flower seeds.

My first attempt was not so successful. Out of 13 seeds only 4 germinated. Bah!

This one is Balsam. I used to have these in my garden. They are pretty and the seed pods are very amusing. When the time is right, it explodes (releasing seeds) when you touch it.

But it is not so amusing when you see many Balsam seedlings growing everywhere on your lawn and this is when they take on the status of weeds. LOL!

This is Cockscomb. Not among my favorites. In the movie Greenfingers (which I loved) there was a funny scene where Helen Mirren declared haughtily "This is the Cockscomb and it reminds me of my ex-husband".

Back in Damansara Utama, I hurriedly walked back to the office when I saw this plant. In Terengganu we call it "Daun Puding".

Do you experience this in your family?

This I agree wholeheartedly because I noted that the younger generation have very short attention spans and I it is worrying.
