In a week's time, it's Deepavali, the festival of lights celebrated by our Hindu friends.
It falls on Monday and I am looking forward to the long weekend. Long weekends are good to decompress. I want to spend time in my garden and continue with my (near) year end spring cleaning. I want to do some serious decluttering.
I passed by The Rustic Grill and took a look at their neighbor Daily Taste Art's menu.
Ooohhh... Alcohol Infused Cake(s). I must check it out one day.
A few door away was Cheevit Cheeve, a dessert place.
Looks pretty good for dessert lovers.
Since they are adopting the existing signboard and same design and color, I think the management is the same.
A new bakery is opening, Something Bakery.
Baker's Cottage closed down. It's brutal the lifespan of eateries/bakeries in Damansara Uptown.
At The Starling, the Travel Fair is back.
Exotic destination - Bhutan.
Kenya Animal Migration, anyone?
I hope one day I get to travel.
This Korean restaurant, Gu On, is still not opened yet.
Well, I hope you are enjoying a good weekend.
Hi dear friend, the quote is true. Beautiful photos of this event. ❤️
ReplyDeleteGood morning! I am enjoying my weekends, thanks dear. Yes, it is good to declutter once in a while. May your wish to travel comes true one day. And the quote is so true. There are people who believe if you tell one million times of lie without any rectification, it will become the truth. But hey do not forget, next time when you are in trouble and you are telling the truth, nobody will believe you anymore. There is a childhood story that teaches you this morale, was it the story of a boy lying that there is a wolf and in the end, nobody believes him anymore 🤥
