My Fussy Pots

Ever since I took on two kitties, my schedule in the morning and evening is extra busy. I admit that I sometimes wished I did not have to perform those extra duties.

Feeding, picking up poop and pee (twice a day), cleaning the litterbox/changing the litter, cleaning their water and food bowls etc..etc... seems endless. Spending money on their litter, food and vet fees does make a small dent in my pocket.

And mind you, these kitty cats are an ungrateful lot. Take this morning for example.

Breakfast.

This is one of the cheaper brands of cat food. I mean, I have to budget lah, right?

See what happens.

What?

Not nice, ah? Not up to your standards is it?

Eat! Food!

Oi! Not to your taste is it?

Geez...

So mommy had no choice.

This brand was recommended by a friend. It is slightly more expensive than Snappy Tom and cheaper than Fancy Feast, the usual brand that I buy.

Cindy's Recipe got a seal of approval.

From both my bosses.

I must have owed them something in my previous life.

They eat and sleep.

I pay for everything.

Haiz......

  1. Lol. Choosy duo. I guess, cheaper doesn't mean good and tasty all the time. Haha.

Wah. So enjoy, nap on the bed.

  3. Is that why your last update was a week ago? I was wondering what happened to you!

The two strays in my neighbourhood are well-behaved now - they know not to climb onto my cars and sleep on top...but there is a new one, white with black patches and yes, it slept on top of my car and left all its white fur. Dunno why I did not see any black fur. Wait till I get my hands on it! @#$%^&*!!!

    1. Oh? Well behaved? Have you been disciplining them? LOL! One of my cats, Belle Belle, loves to sleep on top of my partner's car. We can see her paw marks on his windshield hah..hah...

  4. Aiyo, snappy tom brand I thought is ok but apparently both girls don't think so. Maybe that particular can has gone off cos usually Belle Belle will eat everything, right? Ya, I believe somehow u and both of them have some Yuen fen to be fated to be together. They say thank you mommy for loving us 😻😻😻so sweet to see both of them ok to sleep on same bed now.

    1. I thought Snappy Tom should be OK too. The quality looks all right. Yes, Belle Belle used to wallop anything but I think she has gotten used to the good life LOL!

that made me laugh especially reading those funny captions. What to do, it must be fate that brings you to them.

    1. At one time, one of them refused to eat wet food, preferring only dry. Thankfully she has now accepted both.

  7. Don't worry, we're in the same boat! Which pampered cat isn't a fussy pot? ;D Knowing the amount of work involved, that's why I stuck to only one cat (and was very surprised you took on a second cat). The work now is nothing compared to when your cats turn into senior cats or if your cat has some kind of illness.

Eat (demand the best foods), no need to work (everything's paid for), sleep as much as they want (got own bedroom some more!) and pee & poop (got 'maid' to do all the cleaning up)...ah, that's a life any cat (or human) would want! Lol.

Glad to see Cindy has got the approval of these fussy pots. Yeah, no need for the expensive Fancy Feast...I switched to Cindy from Monge too (which is about the same price as Fancy Feast). To further manage your budget even better, you can try to mix Snappy Tom with Cindy, that way you don't have to waste the ones you already bought (to finish your stocks). And if the girls are ok with that, then you might want to consider Cindy Delicious (a cheaper alternative to Cindy Original, around RM1.70) and mix the two. I do that for Cookie (for one of his meals) and he's ok with that. We have to outsmart our furry pals...hah..hah! ;)

    1. Haiz! Sometimes I quietly regret hah..hah... But all in all, it's all right because they both bring me a lot of joy. God did not want me to miss out on motherhood hah..hah..hah...

I'd like to be a pampered cat in my next life!

Cindy is pretty good as I can see that the quality of the fish is almost human grade. The two girls love it. Yes, I will have to mix up the food or else the Snappy Tom will be wasted. OK, I will try Cindy Delicious. Anything to save costs! LOL!

  9. I have heard such complaints many times. Looks like dog masters enjoy more than cat mummies. Seems that dogs just eat anything and never reject! Cats are the clever ones which sleep and eat without fetching newspapers or bark at strangers! Good karma cats! You better reincarnate as the same blogger and chef in next life ok!! Not a cat!!

    1. LOL! It is true that dogs are more cincai. They eat practically anything that we can eat. Just give them our leftovers also, they will happily swallow. With cat, can't do that.

  10. They are your anak, just like how I pamper my daughter, always complaint but still doing the same things >_<
