A Burger I Didn't Like

This happened during MCO 1.0. I wanted to try this gourmet burger for a long time. In fact my brother and I went there once prior the pandemic but the restaurant was closed (we were too early).

I was quite excited and looking forwards to tasting this burger. Sorry, I can't remember the name but it was a beef burger.

Should be good, right?

I'm afraid it tasted so ordinary. Like McDonald's burger. I was quite astounded. Maybe I did not pick the right one.

A burger that tastes like McDonald's but at premium price. Cannot. Cannot. I'll just stick to my usual.

This is the insipid lemonade that came with the meal.

This is me on one of my morning walks.

No, that is not Girl. So skinny cannot be her.

It's Boy Boy. This is the third and last time I saw him.

He was so adorable, he did belly rolls for me. I was very tempted to kidnap him. But I must not kidnap other people's cat.

I hope he has a good and happy home.

  2. Don't tell me you went to the KGB outlet which is just walking distance from my door!
I always ordered the Hawaiian flavour burger which is heavenly and pricey. I have not eaten for many moons already.

All ginger cats look alike. I cannot tell apart.

    1. The Malays like to refer to it as Oyen.

  4. A friend just shared a photograph on Facebook of the sole McD outlet here – so many people, what a long queue and so many cars, all illegally parked outside…like they are giving out everything for free. So stupid, taking the risk of being infected, not that it is so very nice…and it is not even cheap some more!!!

    1. The desire to eat McD's must have outweighed the dangers of contracting Covid-19!

  5. Mcd will be very happy to know that their burgers are on par with kgb burger. Too bad u can't remember which kgb burger u ordered so u can order it again together with the McD burger which u think is the same n eat them together to confirm that they taste the same. I can belanja you both burgers for u to test again cos I am also curious to know has kgb standard drop so much? They r now buying mcd beef patty and passing it as their own???

    1. LOL! I don't think I want to eat that again. My favorite is still MyBurgerlab and to me it is the best!

  7. I've heard a lot about KGB burgers but have not tried. Oh dear, their standards must have dropped drastically. I think they were the well known premium burgers before the others like MyBurgerLab or Spade's Burgers came along. Having their premium burger patty compared to McD's is the worst compliment/comparison they can get! >_<

    1. When I ate the burger, I wondered what was all the hype. Standards could have dropped because I read Ninja Housewife's review on it and she was also underwhelmed. In fact I read her review even before I tried the burger. hah..hah..
