Today as I ate my lunch which I prepped from home, I was feeling blahhhh.... I miss eating out. So soon, you say? Yeah. It's been only a week but I miss eating at the foodcourt and even eating at the chap fan shop.
Two weeks before the MCO, I made Tiramisu hoo..hoo... This one is made with raw egg yolks.
Beat up whipping cream and the cream cheese etc etc. If you want the recipe and methodology, you can refer here. But this recipe is not the usual recipe used for traditional Tiramisu.
If you are wondering what I did with the egg whites, fear not, I did not waste them. I simply used them in my soup.
I saw a whole fleet of Grabfood riders waiting outside. Not only that, the restaurant used a loudspeaker to announce the order numbers. LOL!
Well, if your business is super good, MCO or not, everything will still jalan come what may.
Elsewhere a few doors away, things were not so cheery.
When I got home, I filtered the bone broth that I boiled the day before. I managed to get 3 jars worth of broth.
Day #7 (Tuesday) I was super bored with my (own cooked) lunch. Not only that, I got sick of chicken. I have been eating too much chicken. Perhaps I should go look for salmon fillet and eat fish or prawns for a change.
Back home, I had soup for dinner. This is my dinner Monday to Thursday. Pork neck soup made with broth that I boiled much earlier (using chicken feet).
So good. I use this Korean claypot every time I have soup. Somehow my soups taste better when served in this pot hah..hah..hah....
I think tomorrow I am going to tapau chap fan.....
