Yesterday Ah Girl lepak-lepak in the house while I was out at work. It is quite rare that she stays in when I am out.
When I got home, I could hear her meow just as I was unlocking the door. As soon as the door was opened, out she came.
She and Ah Girl aren't exactly friends even up to now. Haiz... Ah Belle is the nice one, she will approach Ah Girl but Ah Girl is not receptive.
Ah Girl is always cautious and she watches out for Ah Belle before she steps out of the house. She takes great pains to avoid Ah Belle.
So I made my way to the chap fan shop nearby. I was quite annoyed by those auntie-auntie types who have no regard for physical distancing.
Two of them were chatting away while taking their own sweet time picking out their dishes. I stood far away, waiting patiently for them to finish. Gosh. My patience was really wearing thin when they finally paid up and said their goodbyes. Sheesh....
Cases are everywhere now, really can't avoid :(
ReplyDeleteVery true!
DeleteAiyo, I wonder y banks don't provide more electronic services, still so many ppl want to q up. I was so annoyed when rhb says I need to pay the final car loan instalment at their branch physically n that there is no way to do it online. So silly! Please lah, do online bservices la. Want to pay also need go physically to the bank branch.
ReplyDeleteSome of the customers aren't internet savvy. I did not realize that RHB car loan instalment can't pay via online. I wonder what about other banks.
DeleteLove all your not so spicy food. Spicy then I cannot la. Ah Belle is a sweetheart. ah Girl is so sombong but ok la, ah girl didn't bully ah Belle so Kira ah girl is very nice already. Just need more time to be friends. Best is their mommy who sayang both of them equally.
ReplyDeleteI hope that eventually Ah Girl will be friendly towards Belle.
DeleteCases are everywhere now. My sejahtera app says got 64 cases within 1 km of my place. Hah? Where? I don't know. So how to go out like that? Sweat betul.
ReplyDeletewah...seriously??? that many?
Deleteboth of your cats sure knows how to social distance themselves...LOL! the chap-fan dishes look good....someting that i would pick for myself too when i patronised the chap-fan stall. The queue at the bank is so long....Maybe the queue would be shorter during non-lunch time?
ReplyDeleteI should go to the bank first thing when they open. LOL!
DeleteOh dear!!! I do online banking now, no need to go out. After all, I do not need to use cash since I do not go out. Eeeee...at first, I thought Ah Girl is so good, not LGBT and then she went and smell others' backsides. Eyewwwwww!!!! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I freaked out when I first saw them do that >.<
DeleteI noticed long queue in a bank over here too. People sure patiently waiting in queue. I am not one of them. Lol.
ReplyDeleteSome of the customers especially the older folks are not internet savvy. So they have to do counter service.
DeleteWhat a cute post of your 2 darling cats. My sister also has the same problem when her England Cat Prince died after falling off from her 9th floor unit. Her England Cat Princess fell into depression and she adopted a new noisy cat as replacement but English Princess snubbed it like how your Ah Girl is towards Ah Belle. It took many months for them to play together now but with line drawn. You can try this trick. Just stroke and brush Ah Girl's fur daily more than Ah Belle. Slowly it builds her emotions of love for Ah Belle. Cats are easily drawn to very slightest attentions. Sounds easy?
ReplyDeleteI hate that PBB at Uptown as I stood outside many times like 30-45 minutes and got roasted like Twilight Bak Kwa meat. I could easily use the PBB in my area but I had to sign documents for overseas wired funds at the Uptown branch which I opened my account long ago when I was working near Mama Lee's.
Oh dear, how sad about your sister's England Cat Prince. I realized that it s not so easy to get two cats to be friends. It takes time. I'll try what you suggested.
DeleteI have to go to the bank super early. But lazy lah. I prefer to go one shot when I am out buying lunch.
Yes, cases are everywhere. Nowadays, I choose non peak hours to use the ATM machine and avoid using the counter services as far as possible.
ReplyDeleteYou are very wise. These days I go out earlier to get lunch to avoid the crowd.
DeleteIt's getting scary as it seems to be everywhere (the app says 44 cases in my area). Public Bank in my area closed because of positive cases, now I hear Hong Leong Bank also. One of my whatsapp group also circulated a notice from Maybank that they will close temporarily to safeguard the well-being of their customers & employees but did not mention about any positive cases. Now latest I hear, even Ikea Cheras got cases with their security personnel. There's even a cluster in my area. I wonder if we're heading for a lockdown come Feb 4! T_T
ReplyDeleteRecently my brother informed me of a case at his office building. So scared! A lockdown seems unthinkable and our Health DG was even saying MCO will be over soon? How? Maybe he meant an RMCO with very tight SOP will be the next course of action.
DeleteOops, update in the cases reported in the app in my area is actually 118! >_< We broke the record for number of daily cases again today...past 4,000 already! :O Yeah, I think they want to implement CMCO with tight SOP but even with MCO now, the numbers are not coming down.
DeleteCOVID seems to be getting closer and closer to home.
ReplyDeleteIt's very scary and I was really petrified when I learnt of the 2 cases near my office area.
DeleteGetting scarier by the day... wonder when we can get our normal lives back again. PBB in Ipoh is also like that, always queuing outside.
ReplyDeleteWhat's bad is that those in the queue don't bother about physical distancing. I sometimes find the person behind standing so close to me! >.<
