Another kitty cat showed up at my house. It was dirty looking with matted fur and some lacerations on its limbs and parts of its body. But so cute nevertheless.
I approached it cautiously by extending my hand towards it. This friendly kitty came forward, sniffed by fingers and rubbed its face on my hand. Auwwww...... that gets me every time.
Eh, you boy or girl? This kitty's left ear tip had been snipped off indicating that it had been spayed.
My cat hissed at it last Sunday and tried to paw this stranger. But it took a swipe at her. My cat being my cat, she is quite timid, ran off to safety. Haiya, Girl! You must fight back lah!
I will be taking this kitty to the the vet for a check up, to treat its wounds and have a good bath. If it decides to stay with me, I will adopt it. Even if it doesn't, it is all right. At least I did something for this kitty.
I understand that having two cats can be very taxing on my time and pocket.
Awwwwww! 😻😻😻😻😻I am so touched! Yes, please please please adopt this kitty too. I can help to contribute to caring for this kitty if you let me know where to transfer the funds too. I want to help but cannot take in another kitty but I can contribute some funds regularly. What a great news for me this morning! You restore my belief that there are good people around. You are such a good and kind hearted lady. Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteThank you for your generous offer, I appreciate the gesture but for now I think I can manage. I have discovered my love for cats and this one has stolen my heart. But my Girl Girl is still number one. LOL!
DeleteI see Girl Girl is now wearing a pretty collar? Girl Girl is ok, not fighting with new kitty means is going to be ok.
ReplyDeleteI got her the collar from Daiso and I must say she does look a bit more atas with it LOL! Girl is hostile, first time I hear her hiss at another cat. But I hope she can adjust to accommodating this newcomer.
DeleteSomeone is doing a good TNR job spaying all the cats in your taman so that there are no starving kittens.
ReplyDeleteGod bless this person(s). Please do an update on BoiBoi.
DeleteHahahaha, I wonder if I bring BoiBoi to visit your Girl Girl, will they get along because BouBoi is raised as a single cat with no cat friends so he may not know how to socialise with other cats. BoiBoi has been shipped snipped so by right he won't fight with other cats.
DeleteNew kitty is a girl! Your partner sure knows a lot about cats. He has taken care of cats before?
ReplyDeleteAh...no but he has an idea what a girl looks like. LOL!
DeleteIts a girl la, ada 3 kaler like that confirm a girl. Whos in the world dah kasi spayed the kitty then just throw it,or maybe she lost, kucing tu jinak, so dia mesti ada owner dia sebelum ni.
ReplyDeleteOh! Gitu, 3 kaler is girl. I did not know that. I think so too ada owner sebelum ni sebab dia manja.
DeleteAaaww. So adorable!! Manja manja some more. Bet she or he really like you and your home. Hope your girl is fine and get well with the newcomer.
ReplyDeleteIt is super manja, more manja than my current cat. Maybe trying to make me adopt it hah..hah...
Deleteohh...adorable! looks like very 'jinak' coz it approach people at random house (I mean your house) without knowing who the person is! hmmm...sooner or later might see cat fight between ah girl and this kitty if both are left at home alone!
ReplyDeleteMy Girl started a fight but kena hentam hah..hah... She is very penakut. I hope they will get used to each other.
DeleteDuring this pandemic time, best to stay away from strays, far far away!!! #staysafe #staywell
ReplyDeleteThere has been a spate of abandoned pets and I take pity on them. So cruel for them to be thrown out just like that. It saddens me.
DeleteHaha, from the slit so close to the anus, confirm it's a girl-lah (if I'm correct). From her actions (of rubbing your hands & legs and being so tame), I think she's not a stray also (coz she looks well fed and is quite the fatty bom bom). She could have been a stray before she was adopted (that's why her ears are clipped) and now she could have been let go again recently (it's quite impossible for cats to get lost). From her pics, she seems to have a very saggy tummy (an indication she might be quite an old cat or she's just fat...hah..hah). P/S: I learned something new today (from one of your readers)...3 colours means it's a girl (I didn't know that but come to think of it, I've not seen a male cat with 3 colours (2 colours, yes)...wuahahahaha! So happens, the two females in my neighbourhood also have 3 colours...is that a coincidence or what?). ^_~
ReplyDeleteOh, all the best if you're thinking of adopting her. Not easy to integrate a new adult cat into a home. I don't have the experience and know-how to do it but you're doing a good deed as there are so many strays looking for forever homes. Hope Ah Girl (who looks mighty dapper with her new collar) can get along with the new intruder of her space and your love. Good luck!
DeleteHaiz...I have been calling her BoyBoy for the past few days. Now I gotta find a new name! She is super manja and I cannot resist that look on her face when she rubs against my door frame - eyes closed and mouth half open like that. So CUTE! I had no idea at all that females have 3 colors. Let me ask the vet hah..hah...
DeleteAh Girl will take some time getting used to the newbie. In fact this morning she refused to come out of the house so I left her home alone. I hope she did not wreck my house hah..hah... I got the collar for her from Daiso and I must say that she looks super atas with the collar hahahaha... Just like how women enhance their looks with trinkets!
If the cat is an indoor cat then they will definitely be lost if they are let out because they are not street smart. See this sad story of the cat who didn't return to his owner:

Aaaaaa Maaaaaooouu Meeeooooww Miaaauuuuuuu!!! Hooray! You will be blessed with abundance of wealth and happiness for your kindness. The cat looks like a girl to me, after having seen so many pussy cats. My sister had been keeping cats all her life from Penang to London and KL. The cats may fight or sour at the start only but will be good friends ultimately. Look at all the animal shelter homes and how they could cope as they won't have time to worry which pussy would claw which pussy. Muahahahaha
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words! I love cats, something I discovered in my later part in life. When I see a cat, I will stop and try to make friends with it. I hope that my Girl will eventually accept this new comer and they can co-exist peacefully. I am sure they need to have a friend too.
DeleteYou have a tender spot for kitties. I hope the kitty will stay with you and you be her mommy too. I think your Girl will adapt to having another cat around but she will be number One!
ReplyDeleteI hope so too though this kitty is unpredictable. This morning she did not show up :(
DeleteI guess very soon , your house will be full of Cat........Ha Ha !
ReplyDeleteFrankly speaking, you got to manage your own expectation vis your capability to have them all.
I agree with you! At the most, two cats is my limit.
DeleteYou are so kind hearted to bring the kitty to the vet to treat its wounds. I have a soft spot for cats too. Hopefully girl girl will get used to havinganother "friend" in the house.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too. It will be a headache if they start fighting. LOL!
DeleteHow was your Girl when you got home? Was the house spick and span, in the same tidy state as at the time you went to work?
ReplyDeleteShe was fine and immediately ran out when I opened the door. The house was just as I left it. LOL!
DeleteShe must be sleeping the whole time when you were not home.
DeleteOh my goodness, how could you resist that face?
