Defeated By A Dosirak

Last Friday I was at home. I wasn't very hungry until almost 1:00 pm.

So I picked up my phone and checked GrabFood simply because I wanted to use my GrabUnlimited subscription or else it would be such a waste (though this month's subscription was renewed at RM0.01).

After scrolling through all the eateries that I bookmarked (some that I was keen on were closed) I wasn't particularly inspired. But I had to eat. And I was hungry. So I chose KFry Urban@1 Utama.  When very hungry, always order from nearby - that's my philosophy.

I have had the Ultimate Dosirak before (Ultimate Bulgogi Chicken Dosirak) and this time I had the Ultimate Mozzarella Chicken Cutlet Dosirak. You might know that I have a love hate relationship with cheese. I eat mozzarella when I eat pizza.

Since I ordered at peak lunch hour, it took slightly under an hour for my meal to be delivered.

I took the box of fruits to the fridge.

These are gloves although they look like something else.

This is a big lunch. For monsters.

Here you have the fried chicken cutlets (chicken thighs yay!) topped with mozzarella cheese, omelette and two rice balls.

And one piece of spicy fried chicken, rice, pancakes and a skewer of fish cake and tteokbokki .

Here's a close up of the fish cakes and tteokbokki skewer.

Then there's the fried glass noodles, potato salad and kimchi.

I thought I would be OK with the mozzarella but unfortunately I wasn't. Mozzarella on pizza is fine but not on fried chicken.

So I peeled off the cheese.

As I ate, I felt full really fast. My appetite isn't what it used to be.

So.

I had to set aside what I could not finish into a container for dinner.

I am not a monster anymore. Maybe I do better with ice cream >.<

  1. this seems like a meal for 2, i mean good enuff for 2 moderate/light eaters because fried chicken with mozzarella is kinda filling. Judging by the size of that piece of chicken chop which could be (or almost) bigger than my palm, i believe it takes some time to finish, and that itself can be a meal already. I think i would be defeated too...lol!

    1. It can be comfortably shared among two persons. Even a big eater like me had trouble finishing even though the food was good.

  2. Looks like a big portion, enough for 2 people. 1 person can finish if without the rice.

    1. Me too. I get full on much less now. Certain things I used to enjoy like potato chips and snack don't taste as good anymore. Yes, so sad. LOL!

  6. Happy to see you defeated by the dosirak! ;) Even a monster can't finish that...lol. On a sadder note, that means we're aging when we can't eat the amount we're used to. >_< If you noticed, quite a few items were given in twos...that mean (subtly) they were meant for two? :D P/S: I don't have a love-hate relationship with cheese....I hate cheese. Happy holidays...enjoy the l....o.....n...g weekend ahead! ;)

    1. Oh ya, must be age. I used to be able to eat a lot of food! Now I get full on much less. If I ever order this meal again, I will ask for NO mozzarella and freak them out a bit. LOL! I will enjoy the long weekend and hope you do too!

    1. It is value for money as the food is tasty. Can easily share between two persons.
