I was at work on Christmas day and obviously I did not feel the Christmas spirit. I was clearing up as much work as I could so that 2022 will be better with no unfinished business brought forward.
Sunday was grocery day as usual and the supermarket was noticeably quiet. Perhaps many people were still on holiday. When I walked into the fresh produce section, I saw this.
Which can mean one thing and one thing only - Chinese New Year is coming!
Nobody went anywhere near that box. The ngaku frenzy has yet to start.
So are we going to see this soon?
Nah! I am not going to go there.
Sunday evening I was craving pizza. So I Grabfood one regular Super Supreme from the TTDI Pizza Hut since the 50% Hotdeals thingy is still on.
Nyum! So good! After polishing off the pizza, I was still hungry. So I picked up my phone and ordered another one. This time from Pizza Hut 1-Utama.
I am terrible, right?
Alamak.... the pizza arrived like this. Like the box was tossed around making such a mess.
So I lodged a complaint. I don't expect any compensation because the pizza was still edible but to let Grab know that my food arrived in poor condition.
Yes, I am a compulsive eater and I have me a big tank. Bad. Me bad.
Rebel Pasta has closed down. I meant to visit but every time I looked at the menu, the pasta was too, how to say...too rebellious for me. So I never went.
In its place CU convenience store is still work-in-progress. I'll come check them out once they are ready.
rebellious pasta?....hmmmm....must be some weird weird flavors! u can eat 2 regular pizza at one time! i surrender to u....now i know PH is also a pizza monster!

DeleteYes, Christmas came and went just like that. That was how I felt too. If I see nyaku, I might buy some for cooking purposes. I miss pizza. Haven't eaten pizza for a long time.

ReplyDeleteI had a good Christmas time on a lesser scale instead of the usual week long partying. Times have changed while am recuperating. I am looking forward to CNY because that's our real celebration. Bring on!

I just got compensation from Foodpanda for the bag of the bread that was delivered to me has a small hole in it. DeleteYes, that pizza looks pretty messed up.... hope Grab will do something about that... I think they will contact the restaurant and let them know. One time the shop informed me that they would compensate me with 4 fish balls the next round I order from them cos the soup came all spilled... anyway, I did not order again...

The rider was careless and Grab took note and apologized. No ngaku for me this year. Still feel very sien. LOL!
