Meeting Means Eating

Update : Epicuro@Damansara Uptown has closed down.

My brother messaged me one evening. Cher (big sister) are you free for brunch tomorrow? Need to discuss issuance of dividends. Ah! Dividends are serious business. And therefore it warrants a meeting.

We are very predictable and we went to the same old place. Epicuro. Bearing in mind that I can't consume too much carbs, this place is actually perfect for me.

Hmmm...Pork Chops or Lamb Shank? Tough choice. My brother already made up his mind the night before.

His fave. The Big Breakfast. Can't go wrong with that.

Me? I settled for the Lamb Shank.

It's been a while since I had this. What you see at the bottom is not mashed potatoes but rather, mashed cauliflower.

Good stuff, this. The meat was falling off the bone. The cauliflower mash was superb. I was surprised that I was full even before I finished my meal. I thought the lamb shank looked small. My stomach must have shrunk :D

We topped up (as expected) with the Hot Wings. You have to try this. They are excellent.

It was my brother's treat this time. There is no such thing as free advice. Right?

  1. I'll go for the lamb shank too. Last time I ikut u eat lamb shank at Serai and it was delicious so this time I will ikut you again. One day I will go and eat this lamb shank with a Tupperware container to takeaway the leftovers as I am certain I won't be able to finish it since you felt full before finishing it.

Your brother is so nice. He should have said cher you have to give me free advice and pay for this meal too as you are my cher. Cher should always look after little brothers. ;p

  2. So nice to get a brother to invite you out to discuss issuance of dividends! Your family's estates must be very vast! When I see my brother's messages, I always shiver and sweat a bit before reading.

The Hot Wings look so unique & nice and what was its whitish colour?

    1. Hello, I do not have family estate lah. This was company matter :)

The whitish thing is mayonnaise. Taste very good.

  4. Is that mayo on your chicken wings? Looks like they slathered a bit more than they should (compared to the last time you ate this). And yay....to your shrinking stomach...or did the lamb shank shrink instead....wakakakaka! :D

  14. This is called No Free Lunch.. hahahaa.. Just kidding, maybe your brother wants some sister bonding so use advice as an excuse only.. heheehee. No carbs for you? hmmm... I think I agree with you, they indeed make one gain weight pretty fast... Unfortunately I just love carbs, a bowl of rice per day is what I do not mind taking...
