Detoxification My Way - Day 5 : Terminated!

Ah, it is Sunday already! It had been bliss these past 5 days. No stress, eating healthy, passing out toxins and spending time in the garden. Really, I won't mind another 5 days. I have also managed to do some housekeeping but the curtains have not been washed, the window grills have not been touched and oh, the windows haven't been cleaned! There is no end to housework, but I have got to go back to work tomorrow. Sobs!

I feel energized and clear headed after 4 days of detox. Today is day 5. I was in the kitchen at 6:00am and the neighborhood cat was at it again. Why do cats in heat make so much noise? Good thing I was already awake. And this is what I cooked for my family :

Fried spaghetti with meat, onions, green peppers and cabbage. I may be detoxing but I can't expect the rest of the clan to follow suit, right? And yesterday, I baked this :

Cheesecake with Nutella. Had it sliced early this morning. Just because I am on a detox, doesn't mean that my family will be deprived of their cheesecake :) I mean, you can bake cheesecake during a detox but just don't eat it. Ahem! So, PH! Did you sneak a bite of that cheesecake? Who? Me? Hey, look, look, quails eggs! Ghee... hee...hee...hee...

After coming back from Aeon, I decided to call it a day. No more detox. I did have one session of coffee enema this morning and everything went smoothly. I feel good, I feel fresh and there is no reason to prolong the program. I had a simple lunch today. Grilled fish with some greens stir fried with garlic. It tasted so good!

So, that's it from me. I will be back posting my usual recipes and bakes. And thank you for bearing with me these last few days.

  8. Now, now...stay away from those quail eggs! They say one is equivalent to how many hen's eggs as far as the cholesterol goes...or is it because they are so small and we would have at least half a dozen at one go?

    1. Oh? I didn't know that. That's not fair isn't it, I mean they are so small. I don't eat them often so I guess I should be OK :)

    1. Hi Zoe! It was good. I passed out a lot of greenish blackish stuff (sorry for too much info LOL!) and now I feel light and fresh. All in all I am happy. The thing now is to maintain healthy eating and more exercise.

    1. Hi Amelia! I'll have to check next year when I can take at least 5 days off. The Nutella cheescake needed tweaking. I'll be baking it again.
