Sometimes when I run out of ideas of what to cook, I just conjure something of my own, no recipe required. I was actually channeling my mum's chicken stew, a dish we used to love but did not get to eat very often.

Lockdown Day #48 : Craving for Indian

I long for banana leaf rice but now that we are still in lockdown, how to eat banana leaf rice? Can. Via tapau or delivery but no banana leaf lah. Maybe can go and buy banana leaf and put the food on it hah..hah.. then baru got feeling.

Lockdown Day #47 : Fried Noodles

Yesterday was the last day of EMCO but there was no hooray. But looking at the bright side, I can now accompany my partner for grocery shopping like usual and I can resume my morning walk. Yay!

Today don't want to talk about food. I will talk about my cheeky girls. The last few days I have been hollering "Girls! Don't destroy Mommy's things!!!" Not that they listen.

Today I ate chicken again. Haiz....hee..hee..hee... Somehow there is something so irresistible about fried chicken. To me lah. My partner is not so enthusiastic - can get sore throat he says. OK lah, you don't eat.

I actually like chicken. But when I am at a restaurant, if there is another protein option like beef or lamb or oinks, I won't choose chicken. 

EMCO Day #9 : Kimchi Jigae My Way (Not Korean Approved)

I have not cooked kimchi jigae (kimchi stew) in a while simply because I had been eating lots of it ever since discovering this very delicious Korean dish. Not that I was tired of it.
