First dish, Stir Fried Australian Lamb with Garlic (there is an option for lamb). This is a none-spicy dish and very suitable for my partner. He seems to be loving lamb, something which he hardly eats.
Next up is the Double Spicy Stir Fried Australian Beef (the other option is lamb). Well, I requested for the spicy level to be toned down for my partner's sake.
Sure enough, there were much less red cili padi (bird's eye chilies) in the dish. The green chilies are not that spicy hot and can be easily picked out. My partner now eats beef, a protein he used to avoid due to (antiquated) cultural practice.
One more dish - Vinegar Pork Ribs. It was very tasty although the meat was a bit firm and not falling off the bone.
We had three bowls of rice that evening - one for me and two for him. Yup, I decided to have one full bowl of rice, after all it was a small bowl. I remember the good old days when the two of us used to eat 4 (small) bowls each at the old Esquire Kitchen hah..hah...hah...

Thanks for the review. If I ever go there again I will order the non spicy lamb stir fry dish. Have a good week ahead. 💕
ReplyDeleteThe alternative to Australian lamb is local or another country lamb?
