I revisited The Charcoal Grill (this was before the Chinese New Year) to eat pork chops. I like it there because I can choose my side dishes.
This was around 12:00pm and I like it that they have rearranged the seating. I used to have to sit at the back of the room.
Now at lunch, you get the set lunch menu and the seasonal menu. The regular menu is not available, so you can't have their burgers, tacos, fajitas, fish etc.
My default drink is the ice black tea (no sugar).
The only dish suitable for me is the Classic Pork Chops (or chicken) with my two default sides.
Caesar Salad. Delicious!
Grilled vegetables. Also very delicious!
The pork chops were well marinated and grilled. A bit lean for me but it was not dry. It was very tasty, reminiscent of bakwa which incidentally they were selling before the Chinese New Year via pre-order.
The Frangipanis at The Starling's "secret garden" were dry and bald.
But they were flowering.
Ah Boi lost her collar. This was before the recent incident.
It so happened I had a spare one.
Look at her.

DeleteGood that you cut down on sugar! Sugar can be very dangerous and sakit realizing it after my one week's tour around Singapore. Lol. Ah boi is of course a model cos she knows how to "cat walk". The quote is very encouraging and comforting.
