I was going for a blood test at the end of January. I know of people who are careful what they eat before a blood test.
It's just like before the cleaners come to the house, the home owner tidies up first to give the cleaners a good impression.
The day before the blood test I ate this. I eat lots of meat anyway, so this was not unusual.
The lamb chops were gorgeous. Same complaint about the garlic. I don't know what the green stuff is (it's not mint). I tried it and did not like it.
Then the next morning I went to Pathlab. Wednesday I collected my test results.
Here is an extract.
Everything was within range except of course my cholesterol numbers. That would be enough to give my doctor a heart attack.
Cholesterol is largely misunderstood. What our doctors learnt at medical school and what main stream media is (still) dishing out is at least 50 years outdated.

I was very pleased that my inflammation marker (hs-C Reactive Protein) is still below 1.0.

Good morning 🌞
ReplyDeleteNo point going for blood test if put on special good eating behavior for one whole month just before the blood test.
Dear friend, I hope your blood test results are good. I agree with what you said. Pretending is only a bandaid...not sure if I worded that correctly. LOL 😆 🤣 😂 😹
ReplyDeleteI always keep my apartment clean, so I don't have to pretend or lie when I get an unexpected visitor.
What I do before a blood test is to drink water.
My veins on my arms tend to hide and by drinking water it just makes it easier for the nurse to find a vein.
