At lunch time I went to the Uptown 7 food court. It was very very crowded. This long queue is at D'thai Eats.
What I could see is the food is like nasi campur (Malay version of chap fan) and one day I must have lunch here but not at peak hour. I cannot stand crowds.
Then I went for a short walk.
Want???
Adoi. My heart was melting fast. Like ice cream on a scorching hot day.
I cannot tahan.

Good morning! Coincidence or not? I had toasts (kaya and butter) with black coffee (a little sugar), just. It was heavenly especially when the butter look like the ones you have in your photos (melt in the mouth type). I don't like butter when they spread on the breads until like dry dry. Your food photos are lovely. Hong nom nom!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Wah you also had a similar breakfast, nice!
DeleteAdoi, your cat photos and cat story were great, great, great. You managed to snap this cutie pie in his most adorable stuns. I love your quote too. Have a blessed and wonderful day ahead!
ReplyDeleteI caught the cute kittie at the right time. He was so adorable but still don't allow me to touch him.
DeleteAwwww....dear PH, now this is a friendly cat! Beautiful, calm, sweet! Thank you for taking all these photos and sharing them! I do love toast, yes indeed! I prefer it crispy, though. For example, if I order toast in a restaurant, I ask them not to put butter on it...and to put the butter on the side so that I can put it on myself. The reason is this: When you butter toast when it is warm, it kind of melts, making it soggy. But if you wait until it cools, (which is why I put the butter on myself), the toast is crispier...and this is how I love toast. This is also the reason that I do not like French toast. Yuck! Well, you dip the bread in egg...and this makes the bread soggy. Anyway, just wanted to elaborate on how I like my toast. I do the same at home. I let the toast cool before I apply butter or peanut butter. If I have toast with peanut butter, I don't put butter, because well....there is a "buttery" texture to peanut butter. Plus, this saves on any fat that I would have (extra if I use both), less if I use just one.
ReplyDeleteAmen, amen, amen to the cat image and the quote!!! Yes indeed! Cats know good from bad people before we do! They just have a sense that we don't, which is great!
I love your photos, dear friend, thank you so much for sharing.
Isn't he so adorable? He will sniff my fingers but would not allow me to touch him. Maybe he needs more time to understand that I mean no harm. I like your explanation about toast and butter and it makes a lot of sense. I love peanut butter especially the natural ones that are made with just roasted peanuts and salt.
DeleteDid they charge you extra for the extra butter?
ReplyDeleteYes, they charge.
DeleteYes yes yes, bring ๐บ๐ to vet for checkup and then home quarantine until snip snip before can meet your beautiful girls ๐ป๐ป๐ปit is like bring a boy for your girls ๐ป๐ป๐ป
ReplyDeleteLOL! How sweet of you. But this boy boy still won't let me touch him. If he is fated to be with me, it will happen.
DeleteWhy is he ๐บ๐ putting in such a cute pose for u to take photos?
ReplyDeleteSure want to go home with u ๐น๐ธ
I have fed him before and he will sniff my fingers so he is comfortable that I am a friend. I'll see how it goes. I will have to bring my carrier along to catch him if I can.
DeleteNot only did you get extra butter, they gave you an extra dollop of kaya too. Ya, who doesn't love toast with kaya & butter? Not me! :D
ReplyDeleteOh, he's so cute...how come he looks like a she to me. Yes, please do kidnap him...lol. That cat in your quote, that I want to kidnap lah! :D
