Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is having a nice relaxing holiday although I am aware that some of you have to work.
I pampered myself today.
I ordered this from Feast Market last week.
It's been awhile since I had good steaks.
This is a very thick cut of steak, the way that I like it. I hate those thin ones served at restaurants. And they charge a whole lot of money for it.
If you can cook a steak at home, it is worth the effort. Cast iron pan gives the best results.
I love baby French beans. I coated these with olive oil and crushed garlic.
Cooked in the air fryer.
I cooked my steak to medium rare and yes, those are roasted potatoes you see.
Those potatoes were cooked last Sunday and were in the fridge to be eaten bit by bit.
I seasoned the steak with sea salt and pepper.
The steak was delicious and so were the beans and cold potatoes. That was indeed a fabulous home cooked Christmas lunch!

ReplyDeleteI was at uptown this morning, eating, eating, eating and eating at say yes cafe, yin sourdough, Gu on BBQ, and Soylab. Yay π π₯³ was back π at 3 pm before it rained.
Sadly Toastiful is closed during public holidays so it is still on my to eat list.
