While queueing up to make our payment, I spotted something on the shelf that did not belong.
This is a common bad behavior that I observe at our supermarkets. People taking items and then changing their minds but not returning the unwanted items at the correct place. This is very irresponsible behavior.
I have even seen perishables like milk, yogurt and vegetables simply dumped on shelves not meant for these products. Very disappointing!
Back home I did some batch cooking. Extras/leftovers are to be consumed the following day(s). Very convenient.
Does this look like pizza? hah..hah.. This was dinner. Leftover minced beef topped with pepperoni, Jalapenos and grated cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. So good!
Sauerkraut brine is very powerful. There were two occasions when my partner experienced some tummy troubles - he felt nauseous and dizzy, like the beginning of food poisoning symptoms.
I gave him a tablespoon of the sauerkraut juice and within an hour, he felt normal again. I had experienced the same thing too. So I find it is useful to have sauerkraut in the fridge.
I learnt this from Donna Schwenk's podcast.
Yes it does look like delicious pizza ๐. Thank you for the tips on sauerkraut brine. Have a good day ☀️
ReplyDeleteLike there are people who booked a hotel room and stayed in hotel, they watched TV in the room and when they went out they said, "Aiyah no need to turn off the TV lah, just leave it on, anyway we paid for the hotel room." Friend's friend is like that. I was thinking, how can like that, it is so wasteful of the electricity and so irresponsible.
ReplyDeleteI just had fried bee hoon, fried chicken mid wings, runny fried egg and cabbages for my breakfast. Your chicken wings must be as yummy too. About the sight in supermarket, it is common in SG too. Was, the brine so powerful, can acts as medicine also.
ReplyDeleteTypo. Wah, the brine was so powerful
DeleteDear friend, I love ❤️ the quote. Your chicken wings look delicious. You are so talented with the air fryer. Your girls are lucky to savour some of your offerings.
