First, an observation. On my way to my brother's house, I passed by these food offerings at the side of the road. It was offering for the Hungry Ghost Month.
Sweet drinks in paper cups and sweets in paper plates. I guess ghosts and spirits have no issues with glucose.
On my way back to my office, I passed by a row of houses. Then I saw something at a distance.
It followed me for a while before it stopped behind some bushes. My heart broke seeing him meowing and running after me. I wished I could take him home!
In a perfect situation I would have taken him to the vet (just across the road) to be neutered and then taken him home. But of course this won't happen. He might already have an owner and I already have four cats.
I never saw this cute boy again.
Ah ..... to all the cats I loved before ..... This one reminded me of Ah Boy the cat at the nursing home.

Awwww...this boy is a beautiful cat 🐈 😻 🐈⬛️ Very sweet. Love ❤️ the quote. I think this cat already has a loving home.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you are right!
DeleteGood morning! This cat looks well groomed so I guess it has an owner. I looked back at the link you attached regarding the cat at the nursing home, adoi that one is so manja and trying to get fresh with you lol.
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Linda thinks so too and I hope you are both right.
DeleteI believe he has a home because he is very calm and friendly and used to people. As well, he looks clean and well groomed...and well fed. However, it could be because people walking by take care of him, but I really feel he has a good home, and this is always good to know, as they are safer. Still, whoever owns him, (if this is the case), shouldn't leave him roaming around like this because I would fear for his safety.
ReplyDeleteYour reasoning is very sound and I like to believe that he has an owner. The lack of a collar usually makes me think that a cat does not have a home.
DeleteWithout a collar, this was probably an abandoned cat that used to have an owner, that's why he's friendly. If you make eye contact or pet them, they instinctively follow you when you walk away hoping you take them in. That was how one of my part-time pets came...she followed my husband...lol.
ReplyDeleteYes, the collar is a tell tale sign but when I had Girl, she was not with a collar for quite awhile until I put one on her. Oh, your husband is a cat magnet too! LOL!
