Eggs and Coffee

There is another bubble tea place that just opened last week.

I am a coffee person.

So I was not excited.

Milk tea is not something I appreciate.

So I walked on to Damansara Jaya. Before I picked up mum's lunch, I headed to my favorite place for breakfast. I was hungry. I think work stress is making me peckish.

Nope. I did not have sandwiches. Five sunny side up eggs. The center of the plate is so empty. I should have gotten six eggs, one egg could have sat at the center heh...heh...

Love the egg yolks.

What? No coffee? hee..hee.. They provide water on the house. You can help yourself to as much as you can drink.

After breakfast, I headed to Yu Yiee to get chicken rice for mum. After dropping off her lunch, I made my way back to Damansara Utama.

Before I got back to the office, I went to get my coffee fix.

At Baristar Coffee & Tea Express. The small iced coffee is RM6.00 while regular is RM7.00. Definitely cheaper than coffee at restaurants.

I passed by two food trucks - the blue one is Breakfast Buddy while the black one is Kaw Kaw Kopi

Back at the office I enjoyed my iced coffee.

Ahhh.... so refreshing and mood boosting!

Later back home, I had oxtail kimchi soup for dinner.

It is not as spicy as it looks.

This lady Maggie White (83 years old) is a cattle rancher in Canada. Her lifestyle (being a rancher is a lot of heavy physical work) and diet of predominantly beef (she is carnivore for 65 years) made her very fit and healthy.

I was very fascinated with Maggie (and her account of the trials and tribulations of being a cattle rancher) when I listened to her interview with Dr Anthony Chaffee. I hope to watch her in the upcoming Healing Humanity : The Power of A Proper Human Diet documentary.

Anyway, I am on a mission to keep myself fit both in mind and body. God willing if I can live past 80, I hope to be able to live independently and not be a burden to myself or anyone.

The most neglected part of our body - our feet. Better pay more attention to them!

  3. Yes, I just told someone, must work and learn to be independent, if not where you get the money to feed yourself and not be a burden to others. In my family tree, my Ah Gongs (grandpas) all live to the age of 80s and yet my grandma only lasted up till 50s, so it is not easy to predict how many years I still have on this Planet Earth. Good for you, hope you can accomplish your mission.
