When You Don't Have A Cat...

Sometimes I need non-food/cooking/baking posts as fillers to keep my blog alive. The only time I get some kitchen action is Saturday and/or Sunday and there is a limit to what I can do.

I wish that I could hang around the house more and do what I love most (bertapa depan TV) but hey, I have to work.

People like Kris have a cute and adorable pet to talk about. But I don't have a cat. So. I will just show you my snail.

Is it cute? Meet Sam the snail.

Orang bela kucing, dia bela siput.

Sam loves my garden.

Payah nak panjat ni.
Weeds grow everywhere. There's lots of stuff to eat in the compost bin too. That's why Sam looks quite healthy.

Ah...such an idyllic life. Creeping here and creeping there.

Lepak sokmo hok sekor ni.
Round and round we go.

Look at that face. Muka moyok gitu.

Oh no you don't, Sam! Not my avocado seedling! Time to transfer Sam to another playground.

  2. LOL, this is a funny post. It was nice to meet your pet snail, Sam! ;) But then you always banish them and send them into exile from your "never, never land"...muahahahaha! :D That means you have a short term pet...or is it Sam who always find his way back to you....wakakakaka! :D P/S: Now whose cute cat is that? ^_*

  8. Wahaha! A pet snail. Interesting. Reminded me of Gary, SpongeBob's pet snail. Lol.

I dont have any pets at home too. Kids still small, cannot take care of another animal. Maybe a dog when they grown up. ^^

Avocado plant! I have been thinking of planting one too. Saw a video on planting avocado from seeds in pot. Will do so when I buy avocado.

    1. No pets for now or else you will be the one looking after it LOL! The avocado grew from my compost, I intend to let it grow and see what happens.

  10. Hi Phong Hong, I enjoy your post today. Very funny and entertaining. Your pet snail looks big and healthy. I too have taken some snail pics from my garden. I wonder whether avocado will fruit if plant in pot. If can, I too will want to plant one.

  12. In this post, you have made snails adorable than they really are... hahaha... I cannot even find one in my garden at all... no green leaves at all for them to savour on... Our blogs have no fixed niche... Mine is more on rojak.. a bit of this and that so that I can have something to blog about...
