Sometimes I experience strange things. Like how I can't find my calculator in spite of looking for it on my desk a few times.
Then when I am not looking, the calculator suddenly appears right in front of me. Some people say that there are beings that enter our dimension and put a "shroud" over our eyes. Scary or what?
I was on my way to breakfast when I passed by TK Confectionery. I don't usually eat breakfast but I was hungry that morning.
I added avocado and left a remark for the bread to be toasted lightly only (to avoid overtoasted bread).
As usual, this is how I eat my sandwich. As you can see, there is a teaspoon in my tumbler of coffee.
Eh, how did that happen? Did I remove the teaspoon to my plate? I don't think so. I was quite certain it wasn't the server (that would have been inappropriate).
I was not paying much attention, so this will remain a mystery hah...hah...
This is kimchi pork bone broth with sliced pork belly, pork & prawn dumplings, chives wanton and fried pork patty. The broth was a tad salty and spicy hot but delicious.
I spotted this book at Popular Bookstore. If you need to read a book to make people like you (in 90 seconds), well .... hah...hah...
That quotation is so true! Your chicken dish with the avocado looks very tasty!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! I like your last poster and quote. Let me jot it down in case I forget.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, about the last book you saw in Popular bookshop, I only remember what my friend told me, you cannot please everyone hee hee.
ReplyDeleteThough I cannot visit Malaysia for the time being, I am glad that you, my friend, shared photos of food trucks (etc) so that I can reminisce, hee hee. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteRe your this post, no it is "beings" that block your eyes, it is god who "will" it to protect you, maybe it is not the right time as those things are distractions, so stay calm and rest assured. Or maybe it is the "blind spot" (driving 术语).
ReplyDeleteSong, the days turn to weeks, the weeks turn to months, and months to years, may each day of your life be a good day, may you make friend with each one you meet.
ReplyDeletewahhhh durian egg tart....
ReplyDeleteI always believe the lost item will automatically "comes out" itself when the time has come.
ReplyDeleteThis often happened to me too. Just today, I was looking for a specific bottle on the kitchen counter when I was washing the dishes and couldn't find it. After I finished washing the dishes the bottle was right by the sink. No way I couldn't see it just now. In Cantonese, they call it gwai jay ngan as in gwai is ghost, jay is cover, ngan is eyes so literally it means ghost cover your eyes 👀
