This morning, Girl turned her nose up when I served my girls chicken for breakfast. Bah!
She is my pampered child, so she enjoyed a packet of tuna flakes.
She refused to leave the sofa when it was time for mummy to go to work. So I had to haul her out.
The sky this morning before 7:00am.
Today I went out a bit later for lunch because I waited for mum's food to delivered first. The delivery was scheduled between 11:30am and 12:00pm but the rider was behind schedule.
So once the delivery was completed (past 12:00pm), I called mum to inform her, and off I went to lunch.
I wanted to go to Ming Kee for their si yao kai (soy sauce chicken) but as I feared, they were packed. So I made my way to Twins Signature Roast Duck.
I had my usual 1/4 roast duck and Kopi C. There were many customers. Luckily I could get a table.
The roast duck was very good, tender and juicy.
The Kopi C today also got a thumbs up.
When I left, the place was almost full.
Business is good especially after they introduced their value set meals.
This give customers a variety of meals to choose from at affordable prices.
Next door was a physiotherapy center.
I am careful about going for therapy especially when it involves the spine. One wrong move can be catastrophic. I used to visit one at Subang Jaya which was recommended by my late uncle.
Next to the physio center was a new cafe, The Overlook, described as a gourmet tea lounge.
There is another tea place, Beca Tea along the same row.
They also serve desserts.
Ice & Spiced. Something different.
I am not into these things, so you will not get a review of these interesting desserts.
At The Starling there is a Healthy Vibes Carnival organized by Damansara Specialist Centre.
If we are healthy, the medical center will make less money hah...hah...
The best thing is (as far as possible) to not get sick or contract a chronic disease. Of course there are things we can't control, but we can do the best that we can to stay robust and healthy. At least when something happens, we can recover much better.
A doctor was giving a talk.
My child snores. Is that normal? This topic of this talk is A Parent's Guide in Understanding Childhood Snoring. Now I wonder if I snored as a child LOL!
Ah, maybe Girl is really to be an aristocat π πΊ and stay on the sofa enjoying herself all the time since she doesn't want to leave the sofa when it was time for you to go to work.
