Fatty Beef

A few days ago I was lucky to find two packets of fatty beef trimmings at Jaya Grocer.

Usually these beef trimmings are lean.

The cooking is simple - just air fried without any seasonings.

Just 14 minutes at 200C.

These were very tasty.

This was the last bit of my kimchi. I must restock my supply!

Delicious!

Today I share a video about meat and microbes.

Watch here. It's only 16 minutes long. Even if you are not a carnivore, you can still learn about why microbes are beneficial for you. I follow Dr Sean O'mara and I love his book Growing Better Not Older.

  1. Hi dear friend, your beef looks delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ I purchased an air fryer a month ago but haven't used it yet...I will, though. I want to get a liner for it and I will do this as well.

Perhaps tomorrow or Friday. I will check out the video. While on the topic of videos, not sure if you have ever watched any of the videos on my blog, but they are all under 4 minutes.
Going now to look at this video. Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ™ so much for sharing.

    1. I promise you will love your air fryer! I am glad you got one. Yes, liners will make cleaning up a lot easier.

Oh yes, I have watched the videos you posted although not all of them. I steal time at the office to blog hop and sometimes I face time constraint.

    1. hah...hah...hah... It is very hard to find fatty cuts because generally many people avoid fats.

  3. Looking at your kimchi, I am planning to dine out and eat Korean food this Sunday weekend for dinner. Will ask for additional kimchi. Lunch will be scrambled eggs rice with luncheon meat cubes (Spam) at S$6 (Changi Airport Terminal 3 Food Court, considered a very reasonable and affordable price for dining in an Airport setting). Thank you for the inspiration.

And glad that you are happy with your beef and kimchi meal cos not easy to find beef trimmings with fat from the way you put it.

My lunch today was Chicken cutlet curry don with potatoe, carrot (in the curry) and salad at my neighbourhood Food Centre. The cutlet was warm, tasty, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, priced at S$5.30.

    1. Japanese curry tends to be sweet and I do enjoy it although Indian curry is the best!
