Two Kilos, Four Hours, Three Canisters

Arrghhh...so tired...so tired....wahahaha! I never learn. Itchy fingers. Suddenly semangat berkobar-kobar sempena Chinese New Year.

I went grocery shopping. Saw ngaku. Surprisingly the ngaku section was so small, unlike in previous years. Even more surprising, there were no aunties (or the occasional uncles) fighting over the ngaku. Why ah?

So buy lah. Choose, choose, choose, ended up 2kg. My whole Sunday afternoon koyak hah..hah..hah...

Wash, peel, slice, fry, fry, fry.

I am a slow worker.

2kg also wanna die. Small Kucing's mum fried 10kg no sweat.

In the end, I finished my job and ended up with three canisters of crispy fried ngaku chips. Until next year....

  1. I did not frying anything this year. The kost I would fry keropok and cashew nuts. But nothing this year. Too lazy. Lol.

You are so hardworking. And yes, Small Kucing's mama even more hardworking. I salute her!

  3. 2 kilos, 4 hours, 3 cannisters, 30 mins finished eating all 3 cannisters, hehehe! :D yummy! Are you aiming to eat them slowly? 3 keropok ngaku at a time to make the 3 cannisters last longer?

  5. Well, you did it! This year, I cut down the amount to almost half. I think I only fried about 6 kilos and next year I am going to reduce further. Ha ha ha getting lazier.

  6. This year I fried nothing...not even my favourite prawn crackers! Luckily you don't make a living like a hawker selling CNY goodies...imagine your profit from 3 cans after 4 hours...hahaha! >_<
