Critters in My Garden

Sometimes when I am in the garden, I get into National Geographic mode. When I see insects such as this dragonfly, I quickly make a run for my phone to snap a pic.

Then the National Geographic theme song plays in my head, complete with a visual of that yellow box hah..hah...

One day I spotted this ladybird. They are so cute, don't you think?

At first it was just red (I did not manage to take a picture) without those black patterns. The with a blink of an eye, those patterns appeared. Maybe it is just my eyes.

Then I saw this itsy bitsy spider.

Then it stared back at me.

I think it is a good sign that these creatures come to play. They like my garden. And they give me a chance to fantasize about becoming a National Geographic photographer hah..hah...

  4. Early one morning, I saw at least a dozen ulat bulu on the branches of my Jasmine tree, those black ones, the hair will stick to your skin causing much pain and itch. Other critters, I would just let them be...but these, I took a lighter and got rid of all of them.

  6. Your National Geographic looks more like a Garden of Eden with so much greens, insects and maybe one Serpent snake. I could imagine you and your lahling reenact the Adam & Eve strolling bogel around only clad in a fig leaf! He pulled out a Bunga Kantan & knelt down to propose to you but you gave him the forbidden apple instead! Naughty Ah Hong!
