Can I Borrow Your Cat?

That's my brother's cat. Miki. I can't remember if it is male or female. I am so absent minded.

Miki is shy and doesn't quite warm up to me. When it sees me, it runs in the other direction.

This is me getting chummy with Miki. It looks terrified.

Ish! Tak tahan tengok orang senang.

Poor cat.

Naper dia garu kepala aku?
Miki was quite despondent that day and let me hold it in my arms.

Dia ingat aku ni baby ke?
I obviously don't know how to handle cats. I don't think they like to be carried.

Per? Per? Bila kita nak makan?

Miki belonged to my late uncle. But my brother inherited the cat way before uncle passed on.

Pets. They grow on you. You love them to bits. And when something happens to them, you cry your eyes out. Nope. No pets for me. I can't take the emotional trauma.

  1. Not into cats, maybe because when we were small, my parents would tell us to stay away from those felines, said the fur would trigger asthma attacks. Old wives' tales, I guess.

    1. My late grandma was terrified of cats, so my exposure to cats was very limited. Cats are more aloof and not warm and loving like dogs.

  2. Comey nya dia. Myanaks sangat suka cat., but myhusben not allow us to have a cat as our pet, banyakla dia punya alasan, bulu la, berak merata la, bau busukla.
My neighbor ada dua ekor kucing, yg kesiannya, when they not at home, maybe balik kampung, diorang just biar kucing tu kat luar, kesian. So,that's our chances la, bole main dgn kucing and siap belikan makanan lagi.

  4. i loveeeeee cats. they're so adorable. And hit seems that Miki doesn't like to be carried. YOu can see from the 4th photo that his ears are positioned flat which is a sign of him being unpleased. cute cat!

  6. You are so brave to dare to carry cats. Eh I see you are slim only in the photos. Your arms are also thin so no need to cut your carbs lah.

  7. Yes, pets are part of the family... only that they do not know how to talk, but as time goes by, we get to know and understand their character...

  10. Miki is so darn cute. From the shape of his face, my guess is he's a he. If he's purring while you carry him, that means he's contented. And why do you keep referring to yourself as fat....from the photos you're clearly not. Aiyo, no need to go on diet lah! OK?! ;)

  12. You are like me, the reason I don't want to keep pets is I would love them so much that if they passed on, I don't know if I can take it, I also don't want to suffer the emotional trauma

  13. I have experienced a few heartache when my pets left me. We can't bring ourselves to keep pets for the time being.

  14. Yes, pets grow on you. Probably best to borrow one; little or no costs involved.
