Today is day 3 of Chinese New Year and I am one day behind in updating my post. By the time I got home yesterday, it was already late (9:30pm is late by my standards). Besides, my tummy was upset and I was feeling all bloated due to the overeating.

Chinese New Year 2016 : Day 1 Feeding the Clan

Today is the first day of new year and I was still in a coma when the alarm went off at 4:00am. I am very sure there were firecrackers going off past midnight but I was dead to the world. In years past, I used to curse those revelers for disturbing my sleep but not this year.

Chinese New Year Reunion 2016

The dinner is done, food eaten, lots of leftovers and after my family left for the evening, I spent a good hour or two washing up and packing up the excess food. Everyone seemed happy with what I cooked except me.
