Datenite @ Fujisawa Izakaya

This was datenite just before Chinese New Year. I was in the mood for Japanese.

Sorry about the weird color of my photos. It was due to the lighting at the restaurant.

We sat at this corner and I noticed those circular black cushions. I did not sit on a cushion, preferring my behind to rest on the bench hah..hah...

I have ordered this maki before and I am sorry I can't remember the name of the dish.

It was good. My partner told me "Don't eat the flower". Hah..hah...very funny, my lahling.

My partner immediately ordered this when he saw it on the menu - his favorite chicken karaage.

This salmon shioyaki was my main dish.

My partner must have rice. So I suggested he revisit this garlic fried rice with saba shioyaki.

It was a set that was served with a miso soup and an onsen egg (instead of chawan mushi, I wonder why). 

We enjoyed our dinner and this restaurant can be one of our datenite venues.

Oh... what a long nose you have, Sir!
