Three Meals A Day

It is very rare that I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Usually I eat only two meals or one meal a day.

It was Wednesday morning when I cooked beef trimmings that I bought from Jaya Grocer the day before.

My food preparation these days is so simple because it is only one ingredient though I did season the beef with curry power, garlic powder and salt.

I packed the air fried beef trimmings into a container. This was supposed to be lunch but my stomach had other plans. So breakfast it was.

This was the fat that dripped off the beef trimmings.

That morning again a full moon!

Lunch was at DiYiTai Plus. I sat at my favorite spot.

Scallion Omelette Roll and Lemon Black Tea. I had another one, my favorite Bacon Omelette Roll.

Then I went to Jaya Grocer.

Chinese New Year veggies.

I wonder how you cook this one. It looks like a big flower. I suppose one would have to separate the leaves before stir frying.

Clearly the ngaku were almost all snapped up.

Later back home, dinner was kimchi jigae.

I added two eggs.

Oh, I couldn't resist and bought Korean Strawberries.

They are not for me but for my bacteria.

I plonked three into my kefir for a second fermentation. But I did eat two and the strawberries were sweet and juicy.

My favorite meal of the day was the beef trimmings. Today I am back to two meals.

The omelet roll looks delicious as does the beef trimmings.

  2. Ahhh, that is what you had that day when we had a conversation, now I get to see them. The omelette rolls sound yummy and delicious. For me usually I have 3 meals in a day with breakfast and dinner the lighter meals and lunch the heavier meal. The strawberries look so beautiful in their bright red colours. I am sure they taste great and juicy. I bought some recently too.

  3. Your meals photos are lovely and the quote is spot on and full of wisdom. Hope you have a smooth day having your breakfast, packing lunch for your mom, taking walks to burn off any possible glucose and after that back to your office to do work.
