Rainy Day Uninspiring Lunch

Yesterday morning it rained cats and dogs. 

Due to the rain, my girls had no choice but to stay at home.

I bet Kittie Kat was not happy.

Poodie was not pleased either.

So boring, right?

Girl was complaining.

Did you notice that Ah Boi has got a new collar?

By mid-morning, the rain stopped. I had lunch after visiting mum. The iced Americano was good.

This is the Chicken Burger from the brunch menu.

I'm afraid this burger was underwhelming. Chicken patty does not do it for me and the fries were limp.

So I had to call for reinforcements.

A few weeks ago I had the Fish and Chips (also from the brunch menu). It was a late lunch after a webinar.

It fared much better than the Chicken Burger. The fish was all right though the batter was heavy and stiff.

The Christmas decorations are not up yet at The Starling but Red Kettle is all decked out.

I thought their Christmas decorations are quite nice.

I must drop by to check their Christmas menu.
