PaperKite Chicken & Beer has launched their Lunch Set which comes with a soft drink. However, if you want the hard stuff, just add RM15.00 for a craft beer of your choice. Hmm!
My partner told me that there are long queues during the weekends when he passed by.
On the table, besides plates and cutlery, there were two plastic boxes, one contains serviettes while the other contains plastic gloves. I forgot to take a photo of the Lunch Set menu but here is the regular menu.
The menu has been revamped since my last visit (when they were newly opened).
The craft beers are excellent!
There are a lot more choices on the menu now.
What I like is that they give you a choice of fries or salad for some of the dishes. In fact I overheard a gentleman at the next table opting for salad because his cholesterol is too high.
Ah, I see a Hainanese Chicken Chop which I might try some other time.

I ordered from the Lunch Set menu and chose to top up RM15.00 for this Copper Ale.
I waited for my main meal before taking a sip.
I got me the Spiced Chicken Burger.
I would say that the fried chicken was pretty good, tender and moist but it was a bit too salty. There is no sauce in the burger but you can request for chili or tomato sauce. The server asked me if I wanted any but I declined.
It was a good meal and I enjoyed the beer. I don't usually drink beer or alcoholic drinks but I make an exception for Paper Kite's beers. I will be back!
When I read your blog post, I thought you bumped into a real chicken, but not unusual as in SG, sometimes we can see roosters 🐓 within our HDB blocks too. Ahhh, fried chicken cannot never go wrong however I cannot eat too often as I get sore throat and cough easily, sob sob haiz... the chicken and his side kick are very sporting to let you take photos. Enjoy your weekends, I am planning to buy some more journal stickers to work on my journal.

DeleteSo far no real chicken at my office area but there was one time a real chicken walked past my house. LOL! I love fried chicken too but I don't eat often these days due to the oil and batter (carbs + oil = not good for health). Journaling is a very good habit.
