Mr Chicken and his side kick stopped to pose for me. Thanks, guys! Then his side kick passed me a flyer.
PaperKite Chicken & Beer has launched their Lunch Set which comes with a soft drink. However, if you want the hard stuff, just add RM15.00 for a craft beer of your choice. Hmm!
On the table, besides plates and cutlery, there were two plastic boxes, one contains serviettes while the other contains plastic gloves. I forgot to take a photo of the Lunch Set menu but here is the regular menu.
What I like is that they give you a choice of fries or salad for some of the dishes. In fact I overheard a gentleman at the next table opting for salad because his cholesterol is too high.
I waited for my main meal before taking a sip.
I would say that the fried chicken was pretty good, tender and moist but it was a bit too salty. There is no sauce in the burger but you can request for chili or tomato sauce. The server asked me if I wanted any but I declined.
It was a good meal and I enjoyed the beer. I don't usually drink beer or alcoholic drinks but I make an exception for Paper Kite's beers. I will be back!

When I read your blog post, I thought you bumped into a real chicken, but not unusual as in SG, sometimes we can see roosters 🐓 within our HDB blocks too. Ahhh, fried chicken cannot never go wrong however I cannot eat too often as I get sore throat and cough easily, sob sob haiz... the chicken and his side kick are very sporting to let you take photos. Enjoy your weekends, I am planning to buy some more journal stickers to work on my journal.
ReplyDeleteTypo, fried chicken can never go wrong but it is a regret you find them a little too salty and I cannot eat too often
DeleteSo far no real chicken at my office area but there was one time a real chicken walked past my house. LOL! I love fried chicken too but I don't eat often these days due to the oil and batter (carbs + oil = not good for health). Journaling is a very good habit.
DeleteMr. Chicken and his sidekick look delightful, dear friend!!! :) Nice that they posed for your photo shoot. The ambiance of this place looks bright, colourful and friendly. Even their menu is so bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame you found the chicken too salty, that would definitely be a turn off for me as well.
Thank you so much for sharing!
hah..hah... they were a jolly twosome!
DeleteI have never tried eating fried chicken burger with cold beer.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you enjoyed it 😁 👍
Maybe one day I will try when I am in uptown.
Thanks for the review.
Yes, please do try when you are in this area.
DeleteWhen I saw that mascot, I was suspecting it was C&B. Wow, you're really hooked on PaperKite now (did I introduce you to this beer, I forget)...lol. Well, glad you're enjoying your chicken...and beer! ^_~
ReplyDeletehah..hah... and you were right! I might have read about PaperKite beer in your blog and now I am a fan!
