Hasan's Rojak & Cendol Via Grabfood

Who loves Indian Rojak? Me! It is also know as pasembor and I really enjoy the combination of raw vegetables and fritters with spicy peanut sauce.

But finding a really good Indian Rojak that satisfies my tastebuds is hard. There is a van selling this rojak at my office area and I have tried it. It was all right but not what I was looking for.

Then my brother mentioned Hasan's Rojak & Cendol which he ordered via Grabfood. He told me it was very good.  So I just had to try it.

I ordered the Rojak Sotong (RM9.00) and Cendol (RM3.00). With delivery fee, this order cost me RM17.00, my cheapest order so far.

Sure, sounds pricey but think about it. Getting dressed, driving in the hot sun, braving the jam, waiting for your order and driving back home. Or would you rather wait and enjoy  your meal in the comfort of home?

Oh! Can't wait to taste!

Pour the rojak sauce over and enjoy! Yes! This is what I have been looking for! Best Indian Rojak I have eaten in a long time.

The cendol is not bad. Since this is delivered, the ice melted  a little and the cendol was a little diluted but still, I enjoyed it after eating the rojak.

I have since made three orders. Now I know how to get my Indian Rojak and Cendol fix, all with a few taps on my phone to enjoy in the comfort of my home!

  1. Wow! now I am tempted to order both these items via grabfood. Not sure whether or not they deliver to my area. I love to eat both so I am sure I will order them many times like you did.

  2. I've a big group of visitors from KL here - see today's post - and I did ask them to try our rojak thamby, different from the pasembur over at your side. I do not think they did. Too many things to eat, too little time!!!

    1. Your visitors would have to stay a little longer in Sibu to be able to enjoy the good food over there.

  3. Luckily I have an awesome Indian rojak & cendol truck in my neighbourhood, so I can drive there and get it anytime I want, no need to pay delivery...hee..hee! ;) The kuah of your rojak sauce looks very similar to the one I've here but I don't see much of the crispy fritters (my favourite item) and I prefer my veggies (of sengkuang & cucumber) cut more finely though (the truck here use a mandoline slicer, so canggih..haha!).

    2. Crispy stuff from Damansara Utama? I don't think I've eaten any Indian rojak from DU. You must have been mistaken...I love the crispy stuff from the truck in my neighbourhood.

  5. I really would be tempted to order food most days if only someone could come up with a solution to do away with single-use packaging.

    1. Yes, that's a concern. I recently found out that Dahmakan now gives us a choice of whether we want cutleries. Good for them!

  6. Whether the indian rojak tastes nice or not depends a lot on the sauce. I love indian rojak.
