I was craving for salmon. Then I remembered the salmon head that I ate at Fujisawa Izakaya/Fujisawa Kyanpu Bar.
So I headed over for Fujisawa Kyanpu Bar for lunch. The tables were all taken except for the bar seating.
I saw this doll in a box right in front of me. I don't know what character this is. You know what it reminded me of?
Remember the movie Annabelle? It reminded me of those dolls/artifacts kept in display boxes in the Warren's Occult Museum.
I know. I watch too many horror movies, so this doll did not sit well with me.
The salmon head was grilled until very crispy and there were lots of soft meat in the head. The salmon was served with a small dollop of sambal and a serving of soy sauce mixed with grated radish and chili powder.
Within minutes the salmon was reduced to a saucer of bones hee...hee...
After I was done, I went for my mall walk for some exercise and relaxation.
I read something about Labubu dolls (I didn't even know what was Labubu until Choi Yen left me a comment in an earlier post) in the news and came upon some dolls at Miniso.
I am not partial to dolls because I heard stories from my late grandma and my mum about creepy dolls when they lived in the (haunted) government quarters in Kuala Terengganu.
Good morning π
ReplyDeleteWhat a big salmon head. Nice to see you enjoyed eating it π I wouldn't have the patience to get through all the bones. Have a wonderful day πΉ
Good morning! hah..hah... it was quite messy and I had to use my hands! Have a great day ahead!
DeleteGood morning! Just woke up from my Lala Land and had a refreshing shower. I love salmon too. Me too, I don't think I like the idea of collecting those dolls but cute animal figurines are ok for me. Have a happy and good day ahead!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Waking up refreshed is a good thing. Have a happy and good day ahead too!
DeleteAt least the doll in front of you is cute....Annabelle is creepy looking! Wah, so nice...your salmon head comes with a piece of body meat...yums! ;)
ReplyDeleteI didn't find it cute hah..hah... Oh ya, that piece of meat was a welcome addition to just the head.
DeleteI also don't know about Labubu until i read or saw somewhere in online media. Seem like very popular these days. I like to eat salmon (raw or cooked), but not the head...hehe
ReplyDeleteI find that these days I am a bit "ketinggalan zaman" LOL!
DeleteI'm not really into Labubu because I don't think it is cute (hopefully there're no Labubu fans here :P) but there are some other characters which I think are cute.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I also don't think they are cute at all.
