Can I call this a salad? After all a salad is a mix of ingredients - usually veggies and meat with a dressing (sauce).
But first. Ah Boi's Sunday antic.

At Aeon, this chicken promotion caught my eye.
Mozart listening chicken. Wow. LOL!
Aeon was having this promotion - with a minimum spend of RM80.00 you can buy an avocado for RM1.00 each (restricted to 3 avocados per customer). It's a good offer but no, we did not buy any.
Back home, I got busy in the kitchen. I bought a box of Sweet Chili Peppers.
These days cooking is simple and no fuss. Everything cooked at the same time in the same pan. The rendered fat and juices from the steak will flavor the veggies.
Cooked at 200C for 8 minutes.
The veggies needed more cooking. Another 7 minutes (I added a few more cherry tomatoes).
The cherry tomatoes became soft and jammy while the garlic softened and the sweet peppers were nicely charred.
I sliced the steak and mixed it all up with the roasted veggies. There was a thick sticky tasty sauce in the pan and that was the "dressing/sauce" for this meat and veggie salad. Only salt and pepper for the seasoning.
It was so good that I want to cook this again!
I would happily eat your delicious-looking steak & salad. Now that you've included veggies in your carnivore diet, your plate looks super inviting...and when there are roasted veggies, I'm always in. From the first photo, I initially thought they were capsicum but I'm sure sweet chilli peppers will taste just as, if not more, awesome. P/S: The cat video relates so well...my Poppy does all those 7 things, especially the one where she'll scratch at my door trying to wake me up from my nap (when she wakes up first from her nap)...lol! :D
