Relaxing Sunday

Sunday my partner wanted us to go out earlier.

He wanted to go to DJ to pick up some coconuts.

That resulted in us arriving at 1 Utama earlier than usual.

I actually like shopping early. It gives me more time to complete my weekend tasks.

While waiting for my partner to pick up his stuff I came upon these feminine products.

Ah! The monthly scrouge we ladies have to go through (until menopause that is). When I started, my mum set me up the old fashioned way, with a belt. Then I graduated to the stick-ons.

And these days they have this contraption (just like a diaper) for night use. Well, I am glad those monthly ding dongs are over!

Back home I air fried two pork bellies.

I had one for lunch.

With kimchi.

And I drizzled the sliced pork belly with cili padi, raw garlic and light soy sauce. Bliss!

This fatty bom bom could be Girl's long lost cousin. LOL!

  1. Dear PH, the cat 🐈 made me laugh. I love ❤️ the expression.
Your meals look very tasty πŸ˜‹
    I love all your photos.
And as far as.the women's products in your photos, I had my menopause at 47, and I was happy to no longer need them and no more monthly pain.
I hope you have a lovely week ahead. πŸ’—

  2. Cats look extra adorable when they squeeze into tight boxes...more so when they're chubby like Chonky. Give Girl a box to squeeze into and then only we can tell if she's Chonky long lost cousin...lol! :D

  3. Hi dear friend, the Blogger reader is really bad tonight, new blog posts are not showing up for hours. Thus far mine hasn't yet shown up in the reader but has been on my blog for more than 4 hours.
Hopefully they will work on fixing the issues.

I am also glad those monthly ding dongs are over! You areπŸ’ͺ🏻to start with belt type. I used stick on from the start to the end. Didn't dare to try push in tampons πŸ₯Ά

    1. Good morning! Eh, so ngam one LOL! Ya, I am glad those days are over! My mum advised against tampons because she had seen medical issues when she was a nurse in Scotland.

  7. After having read our dear friend Mun's comment, I used the pads that stuck to your underwear. I never liked or used tampons. The ones in your picture remind me of adult diapers for people who have bladder control issues. Thankfully I don't need or use those.

    1. These days it's either stick-ons or tampons which is a lot more convenient than the belt (which no longer exist I think). Oh, ya those look like diapers and might be a good idea for ladies who are heavy bleeders to use at bedtime.
