My auntie sent me this photo of her trays of freshly baked roti paung. Wah ..... how I miss these mini butter buns from my childhood.
And then she sent me her freshly wrapped dumplings. This is something I never made (and never will). Too much work. Too difficult to wrap. And yes. Too lazy. LOL! Ah .... my auntie's dumplings are the best (in my opinion)!
Seeing how you got a scratch from Ah Girl, I usually check the nails of my 2 indoor cats every 2 to 3 weeks. I will trim their nail from time to time. I can only trim the nail of my male cat when I bathe him. So with the help of my mum (she will help to bathe him), I have the chance to trim his nail in the shortest time.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is prudent to trim indoor πΊπ nails.
DeleteOutdoor cats need their nails for survival.
Crisp pork belly bites look delicious. I love ❤️ the cat π as well.
ReplyDeleteOne look at the bakchang and you know it's homemade....the wrapping is not as neat as the ones done professionally...lol! But of course homemade ones are more loaded with good "liew". P/S: Yes, I've seen this roti paung made by you (in your blog).
ReplyDeleteYour Auntie is really superb to be making all these local delights in NZ where the ingredients must be more expensive than what we can get here locally. I am still eyeing your kimchi. Gurl is such a sweetie, happy and carefree with a loving mommy π»
ReplyDeleteAh girl looks so shiok, enjoying a sun bath and "sun tan". Your furkids have good life with their owner and they in turn reciprocate by being entertaining and fun to be with. Update! Weather over at SG today, not too sunny with cooling wind or perhaps it is because I am indoor, those outdoor may not feel the same. Maybe will have a tea-break later in the late afternoon. Will have dinner when the sun sets and do our second round of grocery shopping in our neighbourhood supermarket. And who says we can only eat bakchang during dumpling festival, now all year round also can eat. Good that you are still keeping in touch with your Auntie in NZL.
ReplyDeleteYour auntie always tempting you with something that you can't really eat, LOL .
