I Got Carbohydrates. You Want?

Said the carnivore to the carb addict omnivore hah..hah..hah... I am sure he will say yes. Rice and potatoes, what's not to like, right?

Before we get into the carb thingy, last night's dinner was lamb chops.

I also had some (plain full fat) yogurt to finish off whatever that was left in the carton. I won't be buying yogurt for a while since I find it addictive.

This morning Ah Girl was a bit moody.

Oi! What's wrong with you?

So mommy kacau her a bit. Oochie koochie...

Mommy sayang......

Today I went to Seoul Classic for a change so that I won't be showing you roast duck hah..hah.. I noted a sign that said "You who close door will be blessed". I reckon there must be people who enter/exit and don't bother to close the door.

The restaurant was in full swing when I got there at 12:00pm.

The wait staff appeared to be kelam kabut.

I had the Jeyuk Bokkeum like I did the first time I was there.

As you can see, the server was in a great hurry and the dishes were placed haphazardly. I also noted that there is less banchan now.

It used to be 10 but now reduced to 7. The price remained the same at RM20.80. I guess instead of increasing the price, they reduced the number of dishes.

Obviously, with the way I am eating now, I can't eat everything that was served. Rice is definitely a no no. So were the potatoes, pancake and peanuts.

All those marked with X (five banchan all together) were transferred into my trusty container.

This photo was taken before I realized that what I thought was omelette was actually pancake (you can see it in the upper corner). So that also went into the container.

I guess I won't be back for a while until such time that I have established a baseline of at least 3 months carnivore to allow myself some leeway from time to time.

I am feeling much better now, the anxiety is barely there and I am not depressed. I am much calmer and my mood is stable.

The other day when I was at the food court, I spotted this foursome sharing a bowl of cendol and ais kacang. They were happily dipping their spoons into the bowls, sharing saliva and bacteria. I am not judging them at all, just observing. I could never do that. Geli.

  1. I don't mind sharing a bowl of something with my loved ones...but not with strangers.

  2. Wah, that Seoul Classic is so popular. Upon your recommendation, lucky that I had the 10 banchans there before they reduced it to 7 banchans. Oh, Girl is so moody. Did she cheer up after mommy sayang her?

  3. Like Suituapui said, I'm okay if sharing with my family, but if friend, my self and my friend would definitely get a serving spoon/fork/chopstick to take the food.

  4. If you didn't day they were potatoes, I would have thought they were radish. The other mayo-dressed item is a potato salad? I find it very weird to eat mayo dressing with rice. That's why if there's a dish of salad prawns ordered at say a tai chow place, I would eat the salad prawns on its own and not let it mix with my rice...lol. Wasn't aware that nuts is also a no-no in the carnivore diet. So, you ate the rest of the banchan that were vegetables? That's good.
