Haiz........... It has been a while since I had any cake disasters. My last hari ini dalam sejarah was back in 2016. Come to think of it, 2016 was not a good year for me because I also had a drama minggu ini which happened just before Chinese New Year.

Fried Spiral Pasta
It was the evening of Christmas eve. I was at home and my partner was coming home for dinner. What to cook, eh? The easiest thing would be to toss a salad but he is not a salad man.

My Poke Bowl Fix
Update : Kahuna Poke has sadly closed down.
Now that I have a place to go for my poke bowl cravings, I have returned to Kahuna Poke@Damansara Uptown many times. One of the things I like is that Kahuna Poke offers the convenience of cashless payment in the form of Favepay.

Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon
Does anybody like brussel sprouts? I have read about them and seen them on the supermarket shelves but I never made any attempt to eat them. That was until one day at Salad Atelier when I picked brussel sprouts as one of my salad ingredients.

Ketagih Jeruk (Addicted to Pickles)
I know I have gone quite mad and I am addicted to marinated unripe mangoes to the point that I can eat them everyday. This can't be good as I am adding sugar and salt to these fruits.

Orange and Date Cake
The original recipe is called Orange Date Bread but I have decided to go with "cake" since I creamed the butter and sugar. When I baked it the first time, it turned out very dry.

My Partner's Specialty : Chien Bak!
Oh yes, the man cooks. But not for me. Not yet anyway. Every once in a while, he will tell me about his chien bak. How good it is. A recipe he learnt from his late mum.

Blueberry Orange Butter Cake
Whenever I see blueberries, whether they are on special offer or not, I would be tempted to buy. Most of the time these blueberries are not sweet. They are either sourish or bland.
