It's Cheat Day!

Tonight I can eat carbs!! (This was last Wednesday evening hee..hee..hee..). So. Remember the extra pasta I set aside? The day before, I took it out from the freezer to the fridge to thaw overnight.

This is what I do weekends. I prepare food for the week and weeks ahead. I am a firm believer of cooking ahead to freeze. It makes life a lot easier. Less stress is best.

It was the same old same old situation. I opened the fridge and I see that it is so cluttered. Half a bottle of this and half a bottle of that and all these add up and take up so much space. So. A fridge clearing exercise was in order.

I was day dreaming the other day. As I was mixing muffin batter, I imagined that if I had a kid, the little tyke would be running around the dining table with a half eaten muffin in hand and a cute little face smudged with Nutella.

I had to go back to Village House Kopitiam to reassess the Nasi Kerabu. I did not want to pass judgement just on one visit. No. Actually this is just an excuse to eat more Nasi Kerabu.
