Devil On A Horseback

Devil on a Horseback. Like the name suggests, I immediately imagined a devil riding on a horse. That was years ago when I first came across this party food. Then I discovered that it is prunes wrapped in bacon. Prunes. Not my thing.

The Other Sam You

One Saturday evening, my partner and I were very hungry and we wanted a good meal at Sam You. Lo and behold, the restaurant was fully packed when we got there. There were no more small tables and we were turned away with apologies.

Small Batch Cheesecake

Every time I bake a cheesecake, usually an 8 inch cake, I get 12 slices of cake. Of course I can't eat all of them myself, so I give away the extras.

This restaurant should be renamed "Cantiknya". In terms of decor, it gets top marks. That's what caught my eye when Sedapnya@The Starling opened not too long ago.

I was not aware of this new eatery until my partner told me about it. The shop (same row as HSBC) used to be occupied by Umai-Ya and then Mikado. That's how volatile the restaurant business is at my area.

PH Goes To The Polls (Updated)

Where Is The Handsome Doctor?

To me the most handsome doctor on TV was Dr Kildare played by my most favorite leng chai (even though he is now very old), Richard Chamberlain. I still think he is very handsome.

Lunch With My Parents

On the day my parents arrived, my dad expressed his wish to eat fish and chips. That was an encouraging sign because my dad lost his appetite when he was unwell and as a result, he was very thin.
