Ma! I want fish! hah...hah...
I am loving vegetarian food at Jujube Vegetarian House, Damansara Jaya.
I ordered the Specialty Creamy Curry Vege Fish with Rice. This dish is available Wednesdays and Thursdays.
I tasted the thick creamy curry sauce and it was very tasty.
The vegetarian fish do look very convincing and the texture, though unlike real fish, did have a good mouth feel. I enjoyed this vegetarian curry fish very much. The portion size is ample and I was satiated.
But I was very greedy. I also ordered the Shredded Ginger Deep Fried Cod Fish. Besides I was curious.
The ginger and soy sauce/sesame oil was very fragrant. This "cod fish" was very tasty too.
The texture and mouth feel is similar to the curry fish.
That was a very enjoyable meal and because I had two portions of "fish" I was full and stayed full hours after the meal.
Jujube Vegetarian House is now among my favorite restaurants at Damansara Jaya. Love the food!

DeleteWah, my brother is mostly vegetarian so he buys frozen vegetarian fish all the time. Your vegetarian fish dishes are very tasty so I must tell my brother. Yay ๐๐๐ now this vegetarian shop has a frequent customer d. ๐ชEnjoy your weekend! Don't think got enough time for u to do gardening this weekend! ๐

DeleteMe.......me....me......I love fish! Are you sure Girl loves fish? :D Cats love chicken, actually. I like the looks of the deep fried cod fish...it really looks like fish with all the fried ginger and sauce. Luckily the carnivore in you has accepted veggies back into your life...lol! ;D Now you can have vegetarian food in your favourite vegetarian restaurant.

DeleteGood that you are incorporating vegetarian food and beverage into your meals, oh brown rice, I still am unable to acquire this taste hah hah, the photos look presentable and lovely and of course they taste great and yummy as per your description and experience

DeleteMe no have bakery also, never judge a book by its cover, me dad did not dress to impress, so they chased him away thinking that he could not afford to buy their shoes, not knowing that he owns a family durains business, he walks away silently, did not kick up a fuss, cos what goes round comes round, those people already had their retribution
ReplyDeleteIt is true. Some people who are very rich, they dress simple and live simple. Whereas there are those that live on borrowings and drive flashy cars and live in big houses. We must never judge people by how they dress or what car they drive. I always judge them through their behavior and how they treat others.

DeleteWhen I cooked real cod fish at home, gingers to get rid of the fishy smell/taste and a little bit of soya sauce were all I needed. Slurps! Do frequent this vegetarian restaurant to support them if you like their food and beverage, if not you will have to sing the song "another one bite the dust". ๐
