Avocado Toast
As usual Fridays I go to Antipodean, The Atria.
This Avocado on Toast with Streaky Bacon is from the breakfast menu.
This is what I look forward to - the ice Cappuccino.
Avocado on Toast with Streaky Bacon - two slices of toast with mashed avocado topped with capers, sliced Italian Basil, cherry tomatoes and two slices of crispy streaky bacon.
Yummy! I loved this avocado toast but if you don't like basil, it might spoil your experience.
Cake heh..heh... Red Velvet.
They are getting fancy with their message.
There was even colorful sprinkles in the message. Nice.
Downstairs the newly opened La Juiceria Superfoods was enjoying brisk business.
Maybe I will eat there one day.
Well, I love Fridays! hee..hee..
Girl, are you happy?
Girl looks so contented π»
ReplyDeletehah..hah... She just scratched my sofa >.< and that is one of her favorite activities >.<
DeleteDear friend, I love the cat illustration and the picture of your cat! I am practically in tears with joy! :)
ReplyDeleteAvocado toast is something I have never tried. I do love avocado, though, and it is a very healthy and tasty food!
Red velvet cake is something I have never tried...chocolate cake, most definitely! Your photos are beautiful, dear PH, and the presentations are lovely in the dishes! And I love the nice written message on the plate with your cake!
Oooh, and I love bacon!!! Thank you so much for sharing, and I hope you have a wonder filled week ahead!
Oh, you have such a kind and soft heart, Linda! Avocado toast is delicious, I simply love it! Red velvet is basically a chocolate cake but the chocolate taste is quite muted. I hope that you have a wonder filled week ahead too!
DeleteGood morning π
ReplyDeleteAvocado on Toast with Streaky Bacon looks so tasty π the portion looks suitable for me, as it doesn't look a lot.
Have a meaningful Monday! πΉ
And a good week ahead π
Good afternoon! Yes, it is a small portion, not enough for me actually LOL! I wish you a good week ahead too!
DeleteOh, and thank you so much for your kind comment moments ago on my Monday blog post! I am so happy you liked my photos, dear friend. :)
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, Linda! I love flowers and I find white flowers elegant.
DeleteI m still wondering how to be happy like a catπ
ReplyDeleteYa, me too hah..hah...
DeleteI love avocado toast...but that would be me not liking basil! >_< I believe La Juiceria's food is quite similar to Salad Atelier. Well, these days, everybody wants to eat healthy, so long queues especially when it's newly opened. P/S: Your teddy looks skinny and distorted today...lol! :D
ReplyDeleteYa, if you do eat this at Antipodean, you have to tell them, no basil! It is not even described on the menu and one would have no idea >.< My Teddy melted and lost weight hah..hah...
DeleteOh, I forgot to mention, I love basil so I would definitely like this toasts. In Taipei they have a popular roti canai basil egg wrap which is full of basil which I always buy when I went there. I think people here mostly doesn't like basil so it is not popular here, not even available in Taiwan eateries. Sad.
ReplyDeleteThat's very unique! I love a Taiwanese dish that has basil in it - three cup chicken. The basil used is of a different variety (which I prefer) and I enjoy it when they add more basil. So fragrant!
DeleteWow! The cake and the message with sprinkles will really make our day. They are very thoughtful and doing serious business.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that they take the trouble to pipe that message and decorate it.
DeleteI still have not come across western cafes or restaurants which serves avocado with their food like yours but my neighbourhood fruit shop is able to cut 2 avocado π₯ π for me into how it is like in your posts at a price of S$3 but need to bring our own container box lah. I like it, so healthy and yummy! So I will like to give credit to your blog as I showed them one of your avocado photos how I want it to be π like.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's nice of the fruit shop people to help you cut the avocado. Glad my blog photo was helpful!
DeleteI don't think I like basil when I tried Thai basil minced pork rice before. It is a different kind of pungent from parsley.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is very different from parsley and I like both.
DeleteGirl, so nice to see you, I am happy to see that you are well fed, thanks to your mama.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Girl said it is nice to hear from you!
